A Must Try! - Edit
Definitely worth going to! We got the vegan lunch set and the burger - both were very nourishing and a healthy lunch. The desserts looked amazing too - got the orange coconut cake to take away and it was so light and fluffy. There's a little shop attached to the cafe where you can get a variety of vegan goods - including their own in-house baked treats. There was also an absolutely lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly!

Read moreThe vegan burger was really nice! A very nice chewy soy burger patty. The vegan burrito was nice and healthy and the avocado salad was a big serving, very tasty and fresh.
They have a lot of vegan cakes that looked fantastic.

I went to this cafe more than 5 times. The location and opening hours are very convenient. I have seen heaps of non-vegetarian people which is very good👍 Lots of people can naturally experience plant-based foods. :-)

A Great Place To Get Vegetarian/Vegan Food in Kobe - Edit
I have been to Modernark a number of times, and I always have an enjoyable experience. I am partial to the vegan wraps that they serve, but my wife usually orders the vegetarian curry. The desserts are also delicious. Overall, the price isn't too high compared to other vegan and vegetarian options in the Kobe area, and I recommend checking it out.

The decor was lovely in this popular cafe and staff, as all in Japan, were welcoming. We had the vegetarian plate and Salad wrap with extra protein Patty. Food was okay, not brilliant and needed some sauce or a bit of spice to make it more interesting . Not cheap for what you got.

Very cute and cosy inside. We shared a fried gluten wrap and veggie plate. The food was all very delicious. We had the banana tiramasu which was a bit wholesome for our taste, and a lovely dandelion latte.

A cute and cosy place with okay vegan food. Had read and heard about the place so was excited for the food, unfortunately it didn't live up to the expectations, but was okay and filled you up. Probably better with another meal then the one that I ate.

This is a lovely little vegetarian restaurant tucked away in a side street. I had the vegan platter and my wife had the burrito. Both excellent. Also had the vegan tiramisu for dessert which was also lovely.

Large selection of vegan options! I visited for dinner and was not disappointed in taste and menu selection. The portions were a little small for the price but highly delicious and good quality! It's a cafe and also sells a selection of baked goods and health foods near the register. Would recommend.

Amazing muffins, with a new flavor everyday. The amazake was awesome and the dinner was quite alright, although limited in options for vegans. Recommended to go there for drinks and sweets. Staff doesn't speak english, so be prepared to use google translate. Menu shows vegan options. Ps, the chai comes with cow titty milk.

Not the best vegan option place in japan ... but one of the best in Kobe. Prices high for small portions. I like the to go sandwiches and onigiri 🍙 more than the actual sit down meals
