Produces house-made cheese as well as fermented veggies and bread. Menu changes every couple of months, and dishes may include chili jackfruit stuffed potato, raw rainbow pad thai, tacos with jackfruit, beet burger, spaghetti with homemade vegan mozzarella, tarts, and cakes. Delicious vegan food - Edit
Stayed in Malaga for 4 nights, came to Mimos twice. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. The dishes were really inventive and a total flavour bomb. My friend who isn’t vegan joined me and couldn’t believe how tasty the food was.

The food was delicious, had a starter of nigiri which was good.
The best part was the beet burger - fantastic, with very tasty sweet potato and potato.
For dessert we had the carrot cake, which was somewhat disappointing, but ok.
The drinks were pretty and tasty- homemade lemonade and piña del sol.
There are a lot of dishes that look very good - must come back 😋

4.5 stars - beautifully plated, complex, not mainstream food, which is rare for a vegan rest. But not everything was very tasty. The burger - I wouldnt call it a burger, because the taste is very different and not for the better. The Saffran foam in the rice dish tastes like soap. But the potatoes with mushrooms was good and also the other potato dish. And the pink dip that comes with the burger was divine!

I really like this restaurant. It caters to a variety of diet choices, as it is gluten free and it has raw vegan dishes too. It’s probably the healthiest option within the Malaga vegan restaurant scene. You have to try the Bao. It’s worth to go out of your way to eat here.

The nigiri sushi with mushrooms was one of the best bites I have had in Malaga! Our server recommended the Papas de Bosque with portobello mushroom skewer and they were delicious. The mushroom bao bun was good too! We enjoyed everything we ate! The brownie and ice cream were okay.

Second visit: we tried the mushrooms with pate and I’m not a fan. Flavors don’t work for me and seemed bland. Definitely a fan of the papas de bosque and the nigiri(mushroom one… I could eat 10 of them).

Good papas del bosque - Edit
As the previous comment states, the restaurant is quite spacious, especially in comparison to most of the restaurants in the old town, which is nice. The waitress was attentive and they have wifi and an online menu per qr code on which you can see videos of how each dish is prepared, which I think is awesome and really helps you decide what you're in the mood for. I like how creative and beautifully set up their food is.
Read moreI had the tapa version of the papas Del bosque which was so delicious. This dish definitely deserves five stars and I recommend it. The cashew dip was so so good and fit perfectly with the toasted peanuts and potatos. I could eat that again and again.
I also had the burrito verde, it was good but the taste didn't blow me away. They have quite a selection but the rest of the menu didn't entice me much.
Update: went again, had a mocktail that I sadly don't remember the name of which was really good. Also had the bigger version of the papas del bosque, the mushrooms were a bit too salty this time.

Friendly vegan restaurant serves some raw dishes - Edit
Very pleasant, clean and spacious restaurant, with helpful staff, not too crowded at 9pm on a Tuesday evening in March. Very convenient for most of the hotels which are situated in this part of town 5-10 minute walk. I had a raw burrito and banoffee pie which was rather cold.

The Best Vegan Restaurant in Malaga - Edit
It’s a little on the periphery of the old town but it’s well worth a visit. It’s quite a spacious restaurant too, not like many of the cramped restaurants in the tourist areas. And the staff’s command of English is excellent. The main attraction of this restaurant is taste. Everything is freshly prepared and sourced locally from a family farm, we were informed. So no processed food. For starters we had two Papa Del Bosque Tapas, and for mains we had one Burrito Verde and one Ensalada. All were delicious. The burrito was wrapped in a cabbage leaf. For dessert we had a Tarta de Manzana and a Raw Cake. Good pricing. Excellent service.

We were maybe expecting too much having read the reviews. We had the bowl, it was nice but we were not mindblown. We also had the banofe tart and the brownie as desserts and they were okay but we were not overwhelmed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Mimo. Both the food and the beverages menu sound fantastic. Their online menu even shows videos of the dishes, which helps you get a better idea of what you order. I chose the 'Papa Mágica', a roasted sweet potato stuffed with chickpea curry, spinach and tahini, served with marinated and flambéed cauliflower, roasted peanuts and sprouted coriander on fresh arugula leaves. All accompanied by a tangerine sauce and poppy seeds. The presentation was picture-perfect and the combination of ingredients creative, harmonious and satisfying. The matcha ginger beer mocktail was a refreshing hit, too. Last, I savoured their creamy pumpkin tart served with cashew cream and cinnamon, having a chai latte with it. Again, the use of spices was magical. The decoration of the interior is cozy and the team is lovely. Definitely a favourite in Málaga. #Veganuary
