Surprising good pub food - Edit
We were looking for lunch in the brewery district and stopped at Mill St Brewpub. We were able to sit outside on the patio on a glorious summer day. The menu has a separate vegetarian and plant based section with gluten free and vegan items clearly marked. The menu included items we don’t typically see on vegan pub menus at home. We decided on the jerk mushroom tacos, the deep fried pickles and the shishito peppers. All of them were pretty good, if a bit greasy. The downside to our experience was the beer flight. The sign outside said beer flights were $11 but we were charged $16. When we questioned the server they said it was because the special price was only if they chose what beers were in the flight, whereas we chose the beers ourselves and therefore it was not the special. He did not explain that when we ordered so I think that was a bit of a bait and switch and I am deducting a star.

great experience - Edit
the menu has a fair amount of vegan options and is clearly marked. i got the buddha bowl and it tasted SO good. i do wish there was a little more tofu to keep satiated after the meal but it was a very light crisp and a nice change from how tofu is normally prepared.

Great location, tasty tacos - Edit
(WiFi code can be requested from server) the distillery district is a fantastic place to explore and this charming pub had an unexpected wealth of vegan choices. My dad (being gluten free) had the golden curry- which was the most vibrant colour and contained tofu and cauliflower amongst other things. I had the jackfruit tacos from the appetiser menu which were fine for a lunchtime meal; the jackfruit was exceptionally tasty and well seasoned, it was topped with pink pickles. The kombucha was great value as the bottle poured multiple glass refills.
