Set menu which was very easy to be vegan, most of the dishes were anyway.

Interesting dinner concept - Edit
All food is seasonal and local, and the menu comes in 2 options: vegan and non-vegan. The vegan option includes all courses from the starter to the dessert and everything tasted great (albeit slightly too salty), definitely not something you can find at any restaurant in Berlin. The staff was also super professional and attentive, and I had a great experience.

Very clear labeling of vegan options in the breakfast bar. Many unconventional options such as savory quinoa porridge, coconut milk rice porridge and grilled vegetables.
Read moreHomemade bread and jams were delicious. Possible to order cappuccino etc with oat milk, in addition to the coffee that is included in the buffet.
Very nice breakfast room with long tables and lots of plants.
Very friendly staff.

Love the backyard - Edit
We stayed at the Michelberger Hotel. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant, but our rate included breakfast. I like that they focus on local food and offer vegetarian and vegan options. The breakfast is buffet style and some vegan option are clearly marked. Others, where I‘d assume they‘re vegan, aren‘t marked at all. I talked to the staff and they said e.g. the apple compote should be vegan as well. I raised it with them that everything should be clearly marked as it makes things a lot easier. Interior is lovely and the backyard is just beautiful. Nice spot to hang out. They also have a counter where some vegan snacks are available throughout the day.

Read moreFine dining with a few vegan options. The breakfast (buffet, 16 euros) is especially memorable. So many choices (vegan butter, vegan yogurt, etc.)
It's rather expensive for Berlin but it was completly worth it!

Returned and wasn't disappointed. Delicate food, staff that knows vegan. However reservations may be necessary.

A healthy breakfast - Edit
I'm staying at the plus hostel in Berlin snd this place is literally around the corner. In relation to it being a bit pricey the restaurant does feel classier and edgy. There are lots of vegan choices from rice pudding to nuttela. Lots of nut, seeds and compote options. Everything is clearly marked vegan. They also offer soya milk and yoghurt. Drinks are also included and they a good variety which includes coconut water. Probably too expensive for me to return to again this trip but I would recommend people heading down to treat themselves. Xx

What a great place!! Best breakfast I ever had. Never seen this in any other hotel. And then the interior is so beautiful!!
