Pleasant Cake Cafe - Edit
Despite its name, this place is located in Manhattan (though its flagship store is in Brooklyn). They sell various cakes, a number of which are clearly labeled as vegan. They also sell coffee with a "vegan tax" of 75 cents for plant milks. The cakes I have had by Mia are pretty good, and naturally, very high in calories. Unlike their Times Square branch, this branch on the Upper East Side of Manhattan it's not just for takeout and has plenty of nice seating .

Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery is a bakery with mainly a mix of American and French style pastries, desserts and a large variety of drinks. Some drinks are naturally vegan and most can be made vegan with plant-based milks. It offers clearly labeled vegan tarts and cupcakes. Mia’s provides a list of clearly marked vegan tarts under the Gluten Free & Vegan Tarts section of their menu as well as vegan vanilla & chocolate cupcakes under the cupcake section and 4 types of plant based milks for a surcharge (Soy, Almond, Coconut, Oat Milk).
