Food was delicious but double check the mayo - Edit
Was coming here to write a great review, the food was delicious, clearly marked vegan options, and good sized portions. But in looking at the menu again to get names of dishes I've noticed the Bravas (potatoes) are listed as coming only with a red sauce and mine came with mayo, I doubled checked it on the night and the waiter said it was vegan but honestly I have my doubts now... So maybe make sure to ask and say you can't tolerate eggs. Hopefully just me being paranoid.

Average meze and small portions - Edit
I ordered the Babaganoush, Falafel, and a pita bread. Around 17 Pounds for a small portion of Babaganoush, four falafels, and a bread is a bit much. The taste was also maximum average and the falafel tasted also a bit like not the most fresh oil with kind of a fishy smell.

Plenty of options e.g. bravas, dolmakia, falafel, hummus and bread. Very reasonably priced, paid £60 for a meal for 3 (one meat eater, two of us shared vegan bits, also had two beers and one Greek coffee). Restaurant has nice vibes and service was friendly too!

Not much else to say, everything we ordered was tasty and authentic. The staff were attentive and kind. Not a big beer selection but the food more than made up for it. The ezme was particularly good.

I had takeout from here and it was really good. Amazing lentil soup, thick pita, vine leaves, fattoush salad, and the ezme was amazing!
Read moreMy only complaint is that there wasn’t enough veg in the salad, it was mostly red onion and bread. Would have been superb with more greens and tomatoes.
I would go back for the soup alone.

We ended up with almost every vegan option, and it was all delicious! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Although the baba ganoush was listed as vegetarian they double checked when I queried (it is actually vegan) and made sure everything vegan was labelled as it came to the table (as my companion had ordered a couple of non-vegan dishes, not shown in the photo). We ordered far too much so took some home with us!

A warm welcome and a simple ‘on the house’ addition to a table covered with dishes made this a pleasant evening. Vegan dishes are clearly marked. The wine wasn’t vegan, but was poured generously.

I had walked past this place a few times and always wanted to dip in.
My mother is currently visiting so we decided to drop in and, wow, was I pleasently surprised.
A great menu with loads of range, with me being vegan I was very happy with how accommodating the menu was and the food was top notch delicious.
But even before we tasted it, my mum commented firstly on how beautiful it was presented, absolutely true, the beautiful arrangement of colours and textures perfectly accompanied by a range of tastes, and we were both happy with the price too.
I never seem to usually get in on 'Hidden Gems' but Meze Meze seems to really be the definition, and of course, the staff were welcoming and lovely and had a great cheery manner about them.
I hope to return very soon.
This is a must visit location.

Cons: Book in advance - not neccesary, but as its small.

Large selection of hot and cold vegan meze, which me and my partner enjoyed. We ordered 6 meze dishes altogether and couldn’t even finish them all- fab portion sizes. They also have us an extra 2 dishes for free (an olive salad & babaganoush ) which were stunning! Defo visit again when I am next in Edinburgh!

Fab little restaurant with a meze/ tapas menu with a fixed price for 3 dishes. Lots of vegan dishes available. I really enjoyed being able to try lots of different dishes as we were 4 people so we had 12 plates of food!
