Read moreWalking across the harbour trying to find a proper vegan meal is actually a wee difficult. I found this by accident when craving a coffee - I got the second last one of the day. This was DELICIOUS! I wondered why the vegan cheese was so incredibly good and melty, but that's probably just the vegan mayo. Oopsie. Still amazing

Vegan options - Edit
At the entrance to the howth market, where it's not easy to find vegan options, you find Mecato. I've tried the vegan pizza slice several times, but the vegan mozzarella pesto toastie is my favourite now. They also offer alternative milk for your coffee or tea.
