Good vegan grilled cheese - Edit
The set menu doesn’t have any vegan options, but the create-your-own menu does have vegan offerings, including vegan cheese (sounds like they use Daiya) and Beyond patties. Be sure to request that they grill with soy butter. They also have a vegan tomato soup. The whole vegan grilled cheese soup creation is quite nice. And the homemade chips, made from those famous Idaho potatoes, are a nice addition.

I would give 5 stars if Happy Cow would let me! - Edit
Seriously, the food is THAT good. This is a hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop operation, the kind of place I look for and love to support. Small space, off a gas station and food cooked to order takes time but the staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the wait was so worth it! I have had several sandwiches here, (all customizable which must be why people think the menu is confusing) and I have only rave reviews for each one. You won’t regret coming here!

Outrageously delicious grilled “cheese” sandwiches - Edit
The kids loved their grilled cheese sandwiches. We ordered them each a full, could’ve had them split one or order half sandwiches.
Read moreMy vegan grilled cheese had beyond beef, roasted red peppers, pickles, and was glazed with soy butter. I normally try to eat clean and healthy, but knew my kids would love this place (they did) and I was craving a filling greasy sandwich. This place covered all bases.
Pros: Options for vegans
Cons: Took over 20 minutes to get food, but well worth

Good Comfort food - Edit
I got the half sandwich on sourdough with a mix of Daiya cheese and their in house vegan cheese. It was really good and the sandwich was filling enough. The Daiya cheese melted well, my mom got just the in house cheese and while it started to melt it did not have the cheese "pull". I got take out and added my own saurkraut which made it more flavorful but it would have been fine on its own as well. They have a variety of vegan toppings including beyond meat and 2 options for vegan cheese. There is also a vegan tomato soup and the in house chips. The staff are knowledgeable and made sure not to add the butter when grilling the grilled cheese. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place, and happy to see the variety of options.

This place is so great! Their staff is super helpful and totally understand what is and isn't vegan. Their menu can be a bit confusing so it's best to just ask the staff questions. Their food does take a while for a sandwich shop so if you're in a hurry order ahead!
