Vegan Ice Cream 2 Options

Mel's Downtown Creamery in Colchester (She also has a shop in Pawcatuck R.I.).
The Vegan chocolate is my favorite; she also has vegan Vanilla. Some toppings are naturally vegan. Just ask about those options. Mel does a lot of charity events and is so gracious with giving back to the communities in which they reside. I am so happy to have a place that is local for myself as well as my granddaughter who is allergic to dairy. Mel is a blessing for our children who have dairy allergies. The establishment looks like an old-fashioned ice cream place. The vegan ice cream is a hard/firm consistency; they do not have vegan soft serve.

Pros: Hard Vegan Ice Cream, Supports the community, A positive place for all to visit

Cons: Only 2 vegan options but worth it!
