Favorite fast food stop

For all its many charms, Palo Alto is light on good veg cuisine. Med Wraps, located on bustling California Ave, features all our favorite Mediterranean dishes, from the falafel wrap (which everyone in my family orders, every time) to hummus to the best lentil soup I've ever tasted. Along the way, you can sample other offerings, including dolmas, baba ghanoush, tabbooleh, various veg salads, and the ever-sublime baklava. The portions are generous.

The tiny storefront opens to an area with tables, and there are even more tables outdoors in the back (ie a repurposed section of parking lot) but we always park in the lot off Sherman and get our order to-go. (Don't bother trying to park on Cal Ave!) They also do delivery, but I have never gone that route.

Also: super nice and welcoming employees.

This would be a five-star review if not for the fact that they serve non-veg dishes.
