Only 2 vegan options

The cook changed and so changed the menu, but you get to know it only when you’re there. The menu you find in the www is not the current menu.
The vegan meal was “okay”.
Very friendly stuff.

Pros: Very friendly stuff

Cons: they didn’t change their menu online, seitan is with fish sauce, but called “vegi”

EDIT: Menu changed, lots of dishes no longer vegan

Went to May Quan a couple of times now since they opened and was delighted about the variety of vegan dishes and the fact that there were even two vegan options for many dishes (tofu and seitan). Always really enjoyed my meal that came to a fair price as well.

However, during my last visit I noticed that the menu was changed and many once-vegan dishes are now labeled only vegetarian, including the bao buns on the picture. It is unclear whether the recipe was changed (which seems unlikely a few weeks after opening though) or the dishes weren‘t vegan all the time but were served as vegan. Asking for the no-longer-vegan labeling, I was told that the dishes contain oyster sauce, so the vegetarian labeling would be wrong, too.
