Maybe I’m too picky as I’m Italian but this was just okay. Pasta was industrial and served lukewarm, focaccia was just okay, the tomato one was not particularly flavorful. Food looked pretty but tasted pretty plain. Service was good

Great food and great drinks. Such a lovely place. Well worth a visit! We all loved it. Everything was so fresh and yummy! Friendly service too. Defo need to make a reservation!

I ate a mushroom focaccia sandwich with salad and a strawberry meringue dessert, and drank the jus de moment which was so refreshing after a hot walk over the bridge (apple, cucumber and ginger).
Close to the Botanical Garden if you want to takeaway.

La carte change tous les mois et il y a des options vegan à chaque fois ! La cantine italienne est un restaurant végétarien, il n'y a donc pas de viande au menu, et chaque déclinaison de foccacia, plat du mois ou dessert à son option vegan
Les dips en entrée sont toujours délicieux, la foccacia aussi et on a affaire à un vrai travail du café (aux côtés de l'alchimiste il me semble), avec une option lait d'avoine pour pouvoir terminer le repas en beauté !
Pros: le café, le personnel, le lieu et sa terrasse

Went here as it was the only veg place open for breakfast and the experience was excellent. Though the menu says brunch starts at 10h, they allowed me to order it around 9h. The vegan brunch was toast heaping with hummus, marinated carrots, and other nice toppings along with an oat cappuccino, carrot/orange/ginger juice, and a cookie which was the only vegan pastry they had. Would go back!

Nous sommes arrivés un peu avant l'ouverture de la cuisine mais cela nous a permis de prendre un bourringe qui était servi entre 10h et 14h30. L'offre semble Full végé, et nous avons pu sélectionner une option Vegane dans le brunch. Merci à Marie et ses collègues !

Beautiful vegetarian restaurant in Bordeaux! - Edit
Matsa was a great experience for us. Find a good vegan-vegetarian restaurant in Bordeaux is not easy. Matsa has a small menu but this assure that all the dishes are fresh. I enjoyes the food and also the service was very nice. I will recommend this restaurant.

Pleasant vegetarian caffè with Italian flavors - Edit
Matsa Caffè is a really great place, run by some very friendly people. I ate there for lunch two times in a row and it was a great experience each time. The menu changes regularly and offers several vegan options. I had the pasta of the month with leeks and carrot hummus, which were truly excellent, and I tried the carrot foccacia sandwich and a pannacotta. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The place is also very pleasant, both inside and on the terrace, and the prices are very reasonable.

Great place for Coffee - Edit
We've been to Matsa Caffe for breakfast and we're very pleased. Staff was friendly, the Tarte Caprese (vegetarian) was good and WE especially enjoyed our coffee (we ordered the V60 filtered coffee). The athmosphere was great, too.
