Gluten free pizza, if that’s your thing - Edit
I guess it’s ok, but we didn’t realize it was entirely gluten free. The crust is a bit tough to chew, as is generally the case with GF pizza. It was ok, but we won’t be going back.

Read moreOften, food loses quite some taste when made glutenfree. Not these pizzas. If you don't tell your friends it is glutenfree, you might well fool them!
Owner was very happy when we called to take away ourselves, instead of ordering through one of tge delivery services.

It was super Soft and Not crispy at all. Ist was more like a Frozen Pizza Made in the microwave.
Sorry for that review but almost 19€ for a Pizza like that is Not fair

Super lovely place with the best vegan cheese and pizza I’ve ever tasted- we were stunned by how good it was !!! (Just the Cocktails Are Not the greatest and expect to wait a bit longer for the food- but it doesn’t matter because the food is great!)

Had the pizzas delivered through Deliveroo, arrived in about 40 mins. Great! We ordered the full moon and the love pizzas. Especially the full moon was delicious and tasteful! I think it's the best vegan pizza I've ever tried!

It was a little hard to find it but when i got there it was worth it! The owner was friendly and we needed to wait around 15-20minutes for our pizzas. There were a lot of options and i chose the ‘love’. Would recommend this restaurant!

Ordered today with Deliveroo. Took 1:30 and the pizza wasn’t good: the dough was more like a soft bread, not crunchy. And expensive. I also called to check the delivery time and nobody picked the phone up. Maybe I had high expectations but the first experience was disappointing.

Very lovely place with very friendly and fast service. Staff knows how to create a cozy and friendly vibe in this place. Pizza’s were very fresh and tasted good, but not fantastic. I was doubting between 4 and 5 stars because I’ve had better vegan pizza, but the cheese platter made me go for 5 stars! Recommended.

Temperamentvol Italiaans personeel dat niet al te vriendelijk is. Ik begrijp dan nooit echt waarom je dan in de horeca gaat werken. Pizza waren wel prima, maar vooral prijzig en zeer karig belegd. Over smaak valt altijd te twisten.

A vegan pizza place (though dairy cheese could be added upon request). The only one in Amsterdam so I was very excited. The most popular pizza on the menu is with 3 kinds of potatoes and I did enjoy it. The other two choices we picked (one with spinach and a veggie one) were only ok. Next day even reheated pizza was not so good, likely because it is all gluten free. OK to visit if one wants pizza with vegan cheese and/or gluten free but otherwise not worth it.

I don’t understand why so much good reviews here... the owner was not specially welcoming (not terrible either) but the pizza was really not as good as we expected. Dough was okay I guess but the cheese was definitely tasteless, and the spicy oil, well not spicy at all, we couldn’t feel a thing. So for this kinda food, I find this place extremely pricey ( around 18/20euros for a pizza). I would not recommend this place at all. (If HappyCow not supporting full vegan and gluten free places, this restaurant deserves only 1 star)

After struggling to find Mastino V it was nice to be greeted by a warm and friendly staff member who promptly seated us. Finding it hard to find has nothing to do with the restaurant but us getting lost on trams as we where traveling from out of town and unfamiliar with the city.
Read moreI have to be honest but when we saw the prices on the menu we got taken back by it! We have never seen such expensive pizza! Turns out after living here for months Amsterdam in a whole is just very very expensive but even still the majority of the pizzas are just a tad under €20 and ours easily exceeded that by adding a few toppings!!
When the pizzas arrived they looked and smelled lovely and indeed tasted lovely although the bases because they are gluen free do not have the traditional pizza texture, feel and taste. It is something you have to try to understand what i mean.
We had to starters, 2 pizzas with 2 sides, 2 pieces of cake and to drink we had water, 2 san pellegrino with 2 glasses of wine and 1 coffee and the bill totaled over €105!!
The food was nice, my partner likes the unusual pizza base more than myself but i liked the deserts more than her!!
The staff are very nice and treated us lovely and we even got to practice a little Italian :P
Would be come back? If we could afford to do so or just on very special occasions. If cheaper we would go more often and try out other nice sounding things on the menu!
