I had one scoop of hazelnut Ice-cream, it was okay but had some hard parts in it, which seems to be frozen water...felt like chewing on crushed ice. Nevertheless the taste was yummy. The price wasn't.

Ok honestly I thought that going vegan was going to mean giving up on a stroll to the local ice cream, errr gelato, parlour on hot summer nights, but omg their vegan sorbetto is insanely good! I had the chocolate and pistachio- so creamy and delicious. Bit of a queue but worth every minute.

They have a couple of vegan flavours on top of the usual fruity ones - dark chocolate, pistachio and hazelnut. I had one scoop of each of the last two, but could hardly tell them apart. After a while it was a bit nauseating because (for my personal taste) a bit too sweet and lacking in the distinct taste of each nut. Prices are also quite high (I think 3,70 for two scoops). I guess it’s okay, but I’ll browse around further for more options.

The Gelateria is not finished yet (no seating), but the ice cream is made fresh daily on site. Massimo-East also has got a wide selection of sorbets (proper dark chocolate and fantastic pistachio). Cones are not vegan and they use plastic spoons (I bring my own).
