Fantastic authentic Indian food

Probably the best meal I had on my trip in Prague. I tried the Panipuri, samosa chaat and palak tofu. All was amazing. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend. Dishes are clearly labelled as vegetarian, vegan and with allergens. Would give 5 stars

Fantastic food!

We've been here for lunch, so they just had one vegan dish on their menu. In the evening you can order even more dishes from their main menu. I had the Vegan Thali and it was amazing!! Prices are also very good. Would definitely recommend! ☺️

Amazing

Beautiful place. I was looking for a nice and good Indian restaurant and I found it in the city center. The food was really great. I don't like spicy food, so the staff advised me what is not spicy. I will definitely go there again.

Some hits some misses

This place has some great dishes (the panipuri was great and the vegetable Manchurian) some dishes were not our favorite, like the chili potatoe.

All in all decent food, nice people

Tasty options

This is part of a chain of Indian restaurants around Prague but crucially, this is currently the only branch that serves breakfast! I believe breakfast is only served on weekends and holidays. There are a few vegan breakfast options. (UPDATE: they no longer serve breakfast) I've tried the chole bhature and really enjoyed it - the chickpea curry was nicely spiced without being fiery, and the puffy breads were absolutely fantastic. The only downside was that the chickpea portion was a little small.

From the regular menu, I've also had the tofu masala before and enjoyed it.

The only real downside to Masala is the somewhat patchy labeling of vegan options and allergens in the breakfast menu (the vegan section on the main menu is fine). There is a paneer dish which doesn't have dairy listed as an allergen, and there are dishes like aloo paratha which are vegan but don't have the word vegan next to them like other options do. It's not difficult to navigate, but I'd have more confidence if they labelled consistently. So I've knocked a point off for that.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Unfortunately we had to close the breakfast. We are already in the process of rectifying the mistakes in Allergens. We can assure you that we have a big list of Vegan options and some of them are very unique. We also have vegan options in our lunch menu as well.Masala team
