Not a great experience - Edit
Wouldn’t recommend it, though one has to eat! Stuff is expensive out here in general and this place certain fits that mold. Tough to find fully vegan items. They have INGREDIENTS that are labeled are vegan while the dish itself is NOT vegan and they weren’t super knowledgeable about what vegan is. If you go, be prepared to pay a lot and be caution when ordering. Also takes a long time to make the food so be ready to wait!

This is on point with this place. Locals don’t eat there because we are not fans of the owner and her staff are young and imported so they have little knowledge of veganism.

Nice place to grab a quick lunch on SI - Edit
A little pricey, but Marie Eiffel Market is a convenient and reliable place to grab lunch on Shelter Island. Their vegan menu items are perhaps a bit generic and uncreative, not really reflecting the French cuisine of the market. Nevertheless, veg options are plentiful enough and consistent. During the summer, the back deck is a beautiful place to eat and enjoy a view of Dering Harbor.

I’m shocked Marie let you take a photo of her menu. She once made my friend who was visiting me delete her photo and went on a whole tirade about people stealing her ideas.
