Loved this spot and regretted only getting onto it somewhat late into our stay in San Pedro, there were many other dishes I wanted to try!
Read moreTheir vegan menu is quality, with lots of fresh ingredients and tofu/tempeh/nooch. Visited a couple of times and tried both of their vegan pizzas, both delicious but I particularly loved the Super Vegano with their housemade “meaty” crumbles.
Beautiful lake views from the rooftop terrace.
Prices were reasonable and they accept card payment with 5% surcharge.

Vegan Guatemalan Dished - Edit
You know when you go to a new country and you feel a little sad that there are not many vegan version of their staple dishes? Well this place solved that problem for me! Got to try some Pepian which was super filling and wonderful. I also shared a great salad with a friend and the drink was great. Cheaper prices compared to some other spots and town and so much flavour!

Wonderful vegan menu - Edit
This restaurant is just lovely and we are grateful that they have a special menu just with their begin and vegetarian options. Our meals were fresh and healthy and delicious. We were able to add tofu to each of our meals and it was a firm and perfect consistency. The service was wonderful as well and the view of the lake as Sunset approached was icing on the cake.

Great variety and great value - Edit
Found this gem walking through town and was shocked to find out they weren't already on HappyCow. Although they serve meat, they feature an entire vegan/vegetarian menu full of a variety of delicious options for whatever you're in the mood for. I ordered the vegan pepían and was thoroughly impressed. It was packed full of flavor and quality fresh vegetables and served with brown rice, homemade corn tortillas, and avocado. Would highly recommend anyone passing through San Pedro La Laguna to stop by Maria's.
