We were delighted with the best crossiants we've ever had (pre vegan too)!! I highly recommend the chai latte alongside the cheese crossaint and salami toastie!! Such a treat - a must go in Amsterdam.

Margo’s Amazing Croissants—do not miss this bakery - Edit
Today we discovered an amazing vegan bakery that is fair trade, organic and sustainable. The croissants are so delicious and even a non-vegan would find them irresistible. My spouse and I, who have been vegan since 1991 and 1990 respectively, always search for the perfect croissants and we have found them. They have plain, cheese, and chocolate and we bought every kind. What my spouse especially likes is that the plain ones do not have a sugar glaze on them, but are truly plain. But plain does not mean without flavor. On the contrary, they are flaky and scrumptious. The vanilla danishes are terrific and we bought all the flavors as well. We have yet to eat the others, but if they are anything like the vanilla, they will be hard to stop eating. We are definitely visiting Margo’s again and again. The couple who own the bakery are lovely people and it makes the whole experience even more wonderful.

Read moreIt's hard to find a decent sandwich in Amsterdam, especially a vegan one. Never mind vegan friendly croissants and pastries. And that's the gap that Margo's fills in exceptionally. I haven't had one sandwich or pastry that I didn't find mouth wateringly delicious. Everything is made fresh on the day and it's served with genuine smiles and warm heart from the owners.
My personal favourites are the crispy tofu, or the caprese sub sandwiches, with a salt tahini cookie on the side. And don't forget to buy a coffee, they are also super tasty 👌
My thanks go our to the team at Margos for bringing an awesome selection of vegan food to the streets of Amsterdam 🙏. I'll keep coming back for the food, the smiles, and the peaceful sunny decor.

We had the croissant, cinnamon roll and a danish. All extremely good!! Will return for the croissant and the danish, the dough was perfection and we really loved the cheese in the croissant. Great texture.
