Conveniently located in malls

They have lentil soup, falafel with many salad toppings, lemonade, iced tea.Thr prices are very high. The food is filling but not worth $22 for falafel bowl and iced tea. It's good that there is a veg option in Woodfield mall though.

Pros: Vegan, Good falafel,soups, Lemonaide

Cons: Expensive

Good mall option

Had lunch here--falafel, hummus, sides, harissa sauce, and a side of fries. Nothing was mind blowing but everything was good. A great vegan mall fast food lunch option.

Only vegan restaurant in the area

You know the concept... ready made ingredients assembled in front of you to make your plate.

Pros: Pretty tasty, Falafel is good, It’s near my home

Cons: A bit too expensive for small portions, Too much waste , More soups please

No smoothies at the mall location.

Even though the online menu has smoothies and açaí bowl listed, the location at the mall does not have them.

Good

Pretty good stuff. I like the falafel and the juices. They do use a lot of plastic for salad plates, juices, cutlery,.. inside the mall if you need to do some shopping and eating. The staff was nice enough
Don’t get the eggplant topping. One thin slice for 1 dollar? Come on!

Pros: Mostly vegan menu

Favorite place to eat in the area

The food here is healthy, convenient, and really tasty! Almost everything on the menu is vegan.

One thing worth mentioning is that it runs slightly on the expensive side compared to some other food court options. A falafel salad will cost you $11 plus tip after tax, and you'll be tacking on even more if you want a juice or sweet potato fries (which are excellent, by the way). That being said, if you get all the vegan items at the salad bar then just a single salad will be surprisingly filling on its own for most people.

I wish we had one of these near me!

Nice fast food place. Most options are vegan. Some salad dressings are not.

Gluten free falafel and hummus. Has white and brown rice.
Has small selection of fruit and vegeatable juices.

Carries Kosher certificate (orthodox) to whom it is important.

Pros: mostly vegan

amazing falafel!

Was extremely happy to find a vegetarian (easily made vegan) place in the mall! I got the salad bowl with falafel and added on hummus and it tasted so well! The falafel was simply amazing :) good price too.

ok for shopping mall food

Maoz vegetarian might be the best option in a shopping mall's court food, where you rarely find anything decent, but hardly deserves 5 stars.
The falafel I tried was good, but all the rest was not great - the coleslaw, the chickpeas, the couscous salad.

Pros: falafel

Cons: does not seem super fresh, inside a shopping mall

Amazingly healthy for a food court place

Great stop for gluten free, vegan falafel. Plenty of salad toppings and the even have vegan rice pudding for dessert. I did a combo with some split pea soup.

Pros: fast, gluten free options, great variety of add-one

Cons: expensive for lunch with a few add-one, have to park and walk to get to it if not already

so delicious!

I was impressed! I was in the area for a conference and needed something for lunch. I ended up getting a falafel sandwich with fries and tea for lunch plus bought a second sandwich to save for dinner.

You can choose from several toppings for the sandwiches, all of which are labeled if they're vegan.

Pros: labeled options

Fresh Juice @ Outlet Prices!

Delicious falafel sandwiches with lots of fresh veggies, fresh pressed juice, and outlet mall shopping... what else can you ask for? :-) Best of all is that a 16oz premium fresh pressed juice is only $5.95. I've never seen fresh juice that cheap.

Healthy tasty food!

Never though in a million years that a mall food court would have a truly vegan friendly dining option. Maoz is an excellent choice. Since you get to choose your own toppings for either a falafel sandwich or salad, the possibilities are endless. Portion sizes are incredible. Don't forget to top off your meal with a vegan rice pudding. At the counter, they have an easy to understand chart to distinguish all of the vegan options. A healthy delicious choice in an otherwise fast food haven.

Pros: Choices, Large portion sizes, Taste

Cons: Mall

great food!

It's nice to have a completely vegetarian restaurant in the mall. Almost everything on the menu is vegan and there are also plenty of gluten free options including the falafel. The fresh veggie and fruit juices are also great. You can park for free in the garage for up to 5 hours here and shop when you're done eating.
