The pilgrimage to what is revered as the best vegan restaurant in Poland is now complete. Ultimate Baltic coast dining in beautifully decorated and dimly lit surroundings in the fabulous Old Town. Every dish on the menu has earned its rightful place. To have Gołąbki, a dish my parents used to make for me growing up, in a vegan restaurant was very special indeed. Check my pictures and descriptions for the other dishes we had. I’m not going to try and drone on about flavours and ingredients etc but this is one of the best meal experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Then afterwards, and to top the night off perfectly, The Arsenal beat Franco’s Real Madrid 3-0!!

The fanciest vegan meal I’ve ever had - Edit
Easily the fanciest vegan restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. The meal was outstanding, an excellent wine selection, really good service. I’m used to vegan burger joints etc but this was really upmarket and excellent for a treat or special occasion.

Read moreWe opted to share the Silesian potato dumplings in mushroom sauce to start. I then had the roast miso cauliflower, which was served with sweet potato purée & tenderstem broccoli and topped with pesto, crispy sweet potato,
pumpkin seeds and pomegranate. My wife opted for another cauliflower dish, this time served with a saffron sauce & pulao rice. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was, however, quite filling so we sadly had no room for pudding!
It's a bit more expensive than many places in Gdańsk but worth the extra given the wonderful food that you can tell has been prepared with real love & attention to detail. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Danzig and via Happy Cow we found this amazing place. The menu was already with a great diversity and the chef is so good. Everything we ate (especially the beetroot Tatar) was incredible. If you are in Danzig you have to try.

Finest vegan dining in the heart of Gdańsk - Edit
Closest to vegan fine dining it gets in Gdańsk and I appreciate their veganised traditional dishes. Last time I was craving intense flavours and was choosing between the ramen and the Polish roast. I‘m happy that I chose the roast. It was a very creative combination of millet & mushrooms, with potatoes and salad on the side and two sauces — gravy and lime sauce. The only downside was how salty it was. A friend who was having the cauliflower 2.0 commented that their dish was too oily. So some fine-tuning is in order. But generally, a pleasant experience!

Awesome potato dishes - Edit
My non-vegan bf and I both absolutely loved the dumpling starter (potato dumplings in a creamy mushroom sauce) and the potato gnocci with truffle and vegan Parmesan. The house red wine is also good, not sweet and not sour. After two days in Gdánsk we have already been to this restaurant twice. I also liked the 3D steak. Bf was ok with the burger (I tasted it and it was not for me). Would not recommend the cheesecake - I thought it lacked some taste and was not as creamy as expected. My bf enjoyed his ice cream dessert. Good cappuccino as well.

The most amazing restaurant I have been to in a very long time! We loved the food and vibes so much that we returned every night of our stay for dinner. There was such a great variety in options. Everything was vegan. So much love was put into each dish. Decent price for such amazing quality of food. The service was impeccable. Could not fault this restaurant in any way!

Wir waren mittags im Mama 68 und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Essen ist komplett vegan und wirklich lecker. Wir hatten einen Burger, ein Blumenkohl Steak und eine Suppe als Vorspeise. Alles war frisch, gut zubereitet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren genau richtig und das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt.

THE BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT - Edit
The most amazing vegan restaurant we went three nights in a row and there was something for everyone. The menu is varied and has a mix of polish and international dishes. If you prefer vegetables, tofu, fake meats there is something for everyone! The 3D printed steak is amazing! We tried the ramen, burger, cauliflower steak, Caesar salad, french onion soup, foie gras, pollo tonnato, dumplings, beetroot tartar, tiramisu , cheesecake and pannacotta. Everything was amazing even the simple side of garlic spinach was delicious. I like that you can add extra tofu, vegan chicken or vegan duck onto meals. The only thing that wasn’t as great was the dumplings - the sauce was delicious but the dumplings themselves were a bit odd. The teas were lovely I really recommend the maple and walnut oolong - tastes like maple syrup. The flat white is great too. The staff are always so lovely and the interior is great. Upscale restaurant but fair prices. I can’t recommend enough - we stayed in gdansk for three nights and ate here for three dinners in a row!

Jeśli szukasz odpowiedniego miejsca na randkę lub oficjalne spotkanie, ciężko o lepsze miejsce. Miejsce zadbane, przytulne, a menu nigdy nie zawodzi. Ciężko znaleźć w nim nietrafioną pozycję. Obsługa jest bardzo pomocna i naprawdę można polegać na ich poleceniach. Minusem są dość wysokie ceny oraz stosunkowo niewielki rozmiar restauracji. W sezonie i w weekend czasami ciężko o miejsce bez wcześniejszej rezerwacji. Mimo wszystko, warto!

Extensive choice and what a joy a fully vegan menu. Shared the dumpling starter- fab, mushroom sauce was sublime. I went for the”when in Poland” and had the Polish roast which i highly recommend . Partner had the saffron cauliflower bites also gorgeous. Shared the most amazing tofu based cheesecake. Yum. Service spot on: house wine a perfect Romanian Pinot Grigio. All in all this was perfection.

We had the fishy jackfruit starter which was extremely delicious, the main courses (cauliflower steak and the vegan duck) were good but unfortunately not THAT convincing😕 and the vegan cheesecake that was a seasonal special was not that good 🙁

Po przeczytaniu i usłyszeniu wielu pozytywnych recenzji postanowiłam dać drugą szansę Mannie (1 raz byłam chwilę po otwarciu). Na pewno od tego czasu jest spory postęp, jedzenie jest duużo smaczniejsze i ciekawsze. Niestety, ale nic poza tym. W tej cenie oczekiwałam czegoś naprawdę przepysznego, a było po prostu ok. Trochę się zawiodłam.
