Limited options, but solid - Edit
Currently the restaurant offers a vegan starter (bread with lentil spread) as well as two clearly marked vegan options (sauerkraut and mushrooms filling / spicy chickpea paprika filling). Staff is very friendly. Good place to take your omni friends with you.

It's good to have vegan options, but pierogi can be already traditionally vegan anyway. There were only 2 vegan options here and many veggie ones, one that could have easily been vegan contained milk. They were out of one of the vegan options. Even the fruit ones were not vegan because of the addition of butter, which is unnecessary.
Read moreThe puerogi we had were nice but not amazing. No vegan sauces except fried onion. Service polite and nice but v slow. Really nice selection of drinks.

Traditional pierogi - Edit
If you’re visiting Poland, this is a must. If you’re polish though your babka probably makes better pierogi. 😀 there were two vegan options, I went with the traditional sauerkraut and mushrooms one. It was tasty but I was not blown away or anything. It’s a very touristy spot, there was a 5 minute wait time for a table and it felt very fast paced. However, the service was excellent. Definitely give it a try to taste the traditional pierogi in vegan version.

Limited, but great options for vegans - Edit
We had three different pierogi that were all vegan and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended, nice to try the traditional dish as a vegan option!
Read moreUPDATE: March 2024 only two flavours this time, but they were still great.
The staff are all lovely, but you should ask for clarity on what is and isn't vegan - some drinks have honey in and some of the dipping sauces have milk - they're pretty knowledgeable about this, but this trip's waitress just bought out a dill sauce which wasn't vegan... Happily swapped it to something that was when we challenged it, but you might need to check if anything is bought to that you didn't specifically order.

Not worth it - Edit
We orders two times a mix from vegan dumplings, they were super dry and tasted the same. They don’t have any vegan sauce and the lemonades taste like water and sugar. Definitely we will not come back again.

They had three different types of vegan dumplings. I had a mix of all three and they were all really great!

Pros: 3 vegan options, really delicious, feels more like a local and not a tourist place
Cons: more vegan options would be awesome, serve fish as appetizers!!

NoGo! Served fish as appetizer 😩 No understanding what vegan means. - Edit
Wow, so we ate an animal for the first time since I don’t know. 😓😢 They served fish as an appetizer, without telling us, even though we were specifically asking for vegan food. We only realized that after the first bite ...
Read more- It’s really difficult to find vegan stuff on the menu. There is a vegan rubric. But the correlated sauces are somewhere else and not marked if vegan or not.
- They serve honey as vegan food! Even after complaining, the waiter said that "the chef said honey is vegan". I think honey is also in one of the “vegan” pierogi, at least it tasted like that, but I don't know that for sure!
- I think the pierogi were not fresh. They came just after a couple of minutes, way too fast for being freshly made, and they felt like being heated a second time.
- And the service in general was bad. They were really confused, why we wanted to sit outside (on a warm summer evening 🤨) and took very long to process this and other information. Also after complaining about the fish appetizer, they didn't thought about brining something else instead.
Sadly our last evening in the city. We had a million times better experience and also better vegan pierogi in other places in Gdańsk.

Cons: Fish appetizer / Serve honey in vegan food, Difficult to find vegan food on the menu, The "freshly made" pierogi tasted/felt reheated.

Nice place with few vegan options which were delicious and fairly priced. Yes, the complementary starter is not vegan, just tell them your preferences beforehand. The staff was very nice as well.

Ok for vegans - Edit
I ordered the pierogi with mushrooms and they were quite delicious!
Read moreI wasn’t sure about the bread and the spread we got before the food was served, so I didn’t eat it and let my omnivore friend eat it.
I think it’s ok to eat there pierogi but I think there are other places too and I wasn’t amazed.
The price was fair.
I can recommend this location even tho I’m not going to eat there again because there are better vegan options. ✨✨
Pros: Price, 3 vegan options
Cons: Not enough info , Not completely vegan

Yum, but make clear you are vegan - Edit
Always nice to find vegan options of traditional food in different places. I had 5 of the cauliflower and sweet potato boiled pierogis with a cabbage and beetroot side with some bread which was plenty.
Read moreShe bought me a vegan sauce when I asked.
They did bring us a starter because it was busy so we had to wait a long time. But it had fish in it which she didn't tell us, we only figured out by inspecting and my non vegan boyfriend sampling it.
So just be clear with saying you're vegan because otherwise the staff were friendly and happy to bring another sauce suitable.

Four vegan options, which is usually enough, however - we ordered one of each dish and they were all very similar in taste and texture, hence the "not enough seasoning"-con.

Great Vegan Pierogi - Edit
We found this place while wandering about the old town of Gdansk. It was quite crowded and had a nice outdoor seating. It serves mainly pierogi with different ingredients. My choice was the only one: vevan pierogi (weganski). It was filled with red lentils and peppers on carrot dough. There are many sauce options to add to your pierogi. I chose tomato one. Tasted so good! Plus, the homemade spread which came on the house as appetizer was also vegan (lentil spread).

Cons: Needs more vegan options
