Good food but expensive - Edit
As we were staying in a resort nearby, we went to check it out in advance to make a booking, which I would recommend. Both by night and day, the atmosphere is very nice as it is right be a secluded beach. The food was pretty good I have to say, but I don't know if I would go again to pay over 1 million Dong for 2 people. But if you're into fine dining, this is the place for you! It's definitely tasty food, but come at least for a coffee

Alright for what’s around - Edit
Quite satisfied with my ordering, however, it was hard to know which ones are vegan or vegetarian. For example egg is nothing they mention as an ingredient in Vietnam, thus, hard to know if a dish is vegan or vegetarian.
Read moreThere is one of the staff that’s been studying in USA. She’s amazing at English and without here it would be way more complicated to know what I ordered!
FYI, if you’re playing on taking a drink here, take the Watermelon martini or the Passion fruit mojito. Tested a few drinks here but most were a disappointment, these two were at lest drinkable.
Pros: Six vegan dishes., Amazing location., One employee that is amazing at English.
Cons: Not all ingredients are mentioned., Unclear which dish is vegan.

I am sorry, but the place in the picture and maybe the mentioned experience above wasn't at Mango Bay Resort in Ong Lang. There are 3 Resorts named after "Mango" in Phu Quoc island, Mango Bay Resort in Ong Lang, the place with legit vegan/ vegetarian restaurant (I should know because I am from this island)

Very tasty food, beautiful views. - Edit
We have visited this place 1.5 hrs before sunset, without having table reserved before. We were lucky enough to get a table free, stuff is really nice there. Food we ordered was very tasty, I recommend Vegetarian Banh Xeo.

The best! - Edit
I mean the best with everything - sunset view, interior design, service & food! It is more expensive, but because this is an actual restaurant. Money well spent - it is a fine dining experience. Went there many times. Been dining out every night here on Phu Quoc and I have ordered lots of Vietnamese dishes, but Mango Bay’s vegetarian Banh Xeo has won my heart. Have a vietnamese to teach you how to eat it properly. It has even chefs hat next to it - recommended by the chef. Definietly would recommend Ying Yang vegetarian basket as a starter also. Oh, and their juices are next level good! They truly use a juicer. Don’t remember the juice name that was my favorite of them all, but it had passion fruit inside (maybe mango & pineapple also). Next day I had a Thai Red curry, but if you like spices you should have Green curry. Or was it the other way around... make sure which has more spice to it, because I am a fan of spices and later wished I would have ordered the spicier😄But it was still good! Can’t go wrong in this restaurant. I am vegan myself, so everything mentioned here was vegan, too.
Read moreIf you want a table outside with a good sunset view, you should make a reservation 48 h before. You could be lucky with shorter time, but it’s a good idea to reserve a table. This is a fancier place, so maybe freshen up a bit before hand and put some clothes that would suit this place.
Pros: excellent with everything, portions big enough for a restaurant, beautiful sunset
