Hit & miss - Edit
Some things I love (best avocado toast in Bogotá, pizza de ahuyama) and some things are just so-so.
Read more*** After 10 more orders, it remains a complete gamble if you’re going to get good food, food without much flavor, or burnt food. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but it’s too expensive to order and not know if what’s coming is any good. Wholly disappointed. ***
Pros: All vegan , Delicious breakfasts *sometimes
Cons: Potatoes/pancakes delivered undercooked/raw, (5+ times) & juice came 5+ with some juice , half foam. 5+ times food burnt.

Nice place and been twice and had a few takeaways. Slightly inconsistent though, had a pizza from here which had almost no cheese on it when the picture in the app has a lot of cheese

Raw vegan food made with lots of love - Edit
Make Out Colombia was a real pleasant discovery. All the food is plant based, a lot of it raw vegan or can be changed to be raw vegan. I tried the pizza verde and the kale salad bowl, all absolutely delicious. The food gave explosions of flavour in the mouth! Also the smoothies and the cheezecakes I had were soooo tasty. It was a real pleasure to eat such well prepared raw vegan gourmet food again. It is not easy to find in South America. The service also was very good und very friendly.
Read moreDue to the covid-crises they moved to a smaller place but hopefully will be able to return to their much bigger location soon.
So if you are a raw vegan, this is the place to go in Bogotá!! I honestly don´t think any place can be better than Make Out .

One of the best places to find Plant-based food in Bogotá . - Edit

Tasty food, excellent service - Edit
We ordered a pizza and the falafel bowl as well as a raw dessert. Overall I was really impressed with the meals, although the pizza was a little ordinary. The prices are fairly high, but its an upmarket venue.

Not too good - Edit
There are very good options... but sometimes the food changes from visit to visit... one day the nachos are good and other they’re not... its not constant. The service is very regular, sometimes they’re fast... others very slow even just for a juice. It’s expensive but if you always get good food and service it doesn’t matter, in this case that’s no the reality.

Healthy food and happy staff - Edit
Food selection and presentation was great, and prices very reasonable (compared to Toronto). A bit of a limited wine list but more of a lunch place anyways. Clean, friendly staff and a cute patio. Had the quinoa falafal salad, and loved it. Full disclosure: have been living off cheese and white bread in rural Colombia for weeks so would have literally killed for anything green. But nevertheless thrilled to have found this place!

Nothing like I was expecting! - Edit
This is a licensing partnership of the very acclaimed raw-vegan Chef Matthew Kenney. Unfortunately the food and presentation here has nothing to do with his exquisite taste and flavors compared to the restaurants in other places in the world. Plates are ok... but definitely not worth the price. Besides service is really bad. It took forever to get our food to the table!...

Food great, service terrible - Edit
The dishes they have are tasty, even though more on the expensive side. The ambiance is good too with seating outside as well. The real issue of this place, neither the owners nor the staff has any clue what they are doing. Staff is running (!) through the restaurant and appears just in general confused! No surprise, they have no supervision at all, as the owners are too busy sitting on their macbook chatting with friends. Hope they can turn it around!

A vegan dream - Edit
Fully vegan and mostly raw. It clean and modern but casual. I got right into the Kambucha . The crackers which you can get to go are savory, not to mention the cheesy kale chips. Cobb salad was fresh. Everyone is smiling and happy to be here including the staff. They have a full dessert menu including cheesecake which I did not try. I’m in love!

If you are used to very good quality and healthy vegan food, then this is the place for you. It is more expensive than other places but I feel that you get what you pay for. The decor is quite LA Los Angeles and the smoothies were some of the best I’ve had. We also really enjoyed the falafel.

Great food! - Edit
The food was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from. Large outdoor seating part as well as the indoor part. We are from Los Angeles and that is where their other restaurant is. It was a little pricey but the food was quite good.

something different - Edit
A little expensive by Bogotá standards (We paid about 80k pesos for 2 mains and 2 juices, with servicio), but delicious and totally one of a kind in Bogotá (if I'm wrong about this, *please* tell me what I'm missing!) We both assumed our dishes would be served hot (kelp noodles and the quinoa-falafel bowl). They weren't, and fully delivered on taste. My husband wasn't as impressed as I was, but since I'm the one with the account, 5 stars (anyway, I think he'd give them 4).

A little expensive, but worth the price.

We tried the kale chips, falafel and hummus, the falafel sandwich, quinoa bowl, mexican bowl, green curry, mini burgers and cacio y Pepe. Everything was amazing! I loved the green curry but everyone else loved the Mexican bowl and the falafel sandwich. For dessert we had the chocolate muss and chocolate cheesecake—- they were both exceptional!

Delicious food, friendly staff and good value. - Edit
Good choice of vegan only food including coconut bacon! Desserts can either be raw fruit bowls or smoothies. Cheesecakes and brownies also available. Clean and airy seating including a number of tables under glass at the front (dogs allowed in this area). Kitchen is open so you can see your food and drinks being prepared. Staff appear happy and friendly. Not cheap but everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. We went on a Sunday morning and the cafe looked to be popular. If we were staying in Bogota longer than two days, we would certainly return again.
