Sriphanit Road, Soi 2, Mae Sot, Thailand, 63110

May be known as Yota and Youta. Small, Thai-Burmese restaurant in downtown Mae Sot. Food is Mahayana-Buddhist vegan though owners are not. Offers changing daily dishes which are on display and ready for take-away, or order from the menu. Menu is in Thai and Burmese. Has 6 tables for seating. Get there early for specialty options before they are sold out. Directions: coming from Prasatwiti Road, turn left onto Siriphanit Road, and it's the 2nd soi on the left, 50 meters down. Open Mon-Sun 6:00am-5:00pm.

Nice food and restaurant - Edit

Very cheap restaurant with good and tasty food. You can choose rice (mix of white and red) with 2 curries (including tofu, fake meat and/or veggies) for only 25 baths!
They also have a menu where everything is written in Thai and Burmese, same thing everything 20-25 baths.
Staff does not speak English but I can only recommend!

Pros: Cheap, Tasty

Cons: Curries may be cold

Best Veggie Diner in Mae Sot - Edit

Having tried all the veggie eateries in Mae Sot, this was my last to land on and is by far my favourite - I won't patronise the others again. With tonnes of variety, super-cheap prices, a restauranteur that makes it her job to look after you and long opening hours, my only complaint is that it's not open for dinner. A winner.

Pros: Cheap, Heaps of variety, Friendly staff

Cons: A little difficult to find
