Mad Mad Vegan - Edit
We had such a great experience at Mad Mad Vegan. We actually made a reservation by mistake for their Madrid location, but when we showed up, the staff couldn’t have been kinder. They graciously seated us anyway, which set the tone for the whole evening.
Read moreThe food absolutely delivered. The vegan Caesar salad was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Kalamaki salad was also good. We shared the BBQ chicken sandwich with coleslaw, and wow, the barbecue sauce alone is worth coming back for.
We tried the nachos too. They weren’t our favorite dish, but still tasty and very generously portioned.
Dessert really sealed the deal. The tiramisu was ok, but the American brownie stole the show, served warm, light in texture but deeply chocolatey, with a creamy, delicately flavored ice cream that balanced everything beautifully.
Overall, five stars. A fantastic vegan spot and such a great find in Barcelona. I’d absolutely go back, and double check my reservation next time.

For appetisers, we tried the “calamari” rings, and the “chicken” croquettes” The calamari was very similar to the real thing, definitely with a try! The croquettes were amazing though - highly recommended!
For mains, I had the “Mad signature” burger with Cajun fries, and my wife had the “Double cheese vacon” burger. Both were delicious!
For drinks, I tried a couple of their own beers - the “Mad Mad IPA” was great, with a clean hoppy taste. Highly recommended for any IPA lovers!

Amazing … nachos!! Plenty to share and so delicious. Also tried the corn tortilla tacos with “chicken” and shared a brownie for dessert.
Our waiter was terrific! Friendly and chatty. It’s a busy and lively restaurant with a fun atmosphere.

Book ahead, it can get really crowded! We tried the tequeños, tacos and 2 types of burgers. Only positive things to say to be honest, and great price for what we had. We each paid 20eur for a full meal.

Small vegan restaurant in Eixample, run a young dynamic team, menu is short but covers all key categories, including desserts and drink list. Food is well presented and really tasty. Friendly staff, fast service. Limited outdoor seating.
