Great vegan options - Edit
Had their deluxe grilled cheese, which came with a side. I had the potato chips which came with the most amazing vegan sauce. Would recommend to anybody. I actually ended up eating here twice on my trip!

Awesome vegan options + fun stuff - Edit
I didn't have super high hopes for vegan food in a small town in NC, but this cute little brewpub in Sylva exceeded expectations! I got the Thai curry with tofu and it was absolutely delicious, but I also could've ordered pizza, a burger, or a bowl. The bar, run by Lazy Hiker Brewery, offers tasty tropical IPAs, sweet ciders, and more. I also grabbed a couple vegan cookies on the way out.
Read moreIn addition to the menu, which satisfied both myself and my non-vegan party, we arrived just in time to participate in some music bingo, which made the night extra fun and memorable. Didn't win anything but I won't dock points for that ;)
Pros: Lots of solid vegan options, Cool bar with an extensive beer menu, Fun events like music bingo
Cons: Didn't win at bingo night :(

Love the pizza! - Edit
What was called "Mad Batter" before is now "The Lazy Hiker." This is a sweet little brewery with an air-conditioned indoor space and nice patio outside. I've had their vegan pizza so many times and love it! The crust is good and the cheese is perfect. I like to get pineapple and mushrooms as toppings.
Read moreTheir fries with the "tomb" sauce is great - it's basically a creamy garlic sauce. I like to ask for it to dip fries and pizza.
I've tried other vegan dishes there but the pizza is my favorite. I recently got the beyond burger but it was way too expensive. For a burger and fries (plus tip) it eded up being around $20 because they uncharge for vegan burger and cheese.
They have a big beer selection and Sylva is such a cute place! When you're checking out check the desk because they usually have some sort of vegan cookie or dessert. And although the menu doesn't say it, the donuts are vegan and delicious!
Pros: great pizza, amazing fries, nice atmosphere
Cons: really expensive vegan burgers

Something if needed - Edit
Wish they had pineapple as a topping for the pizza but would get apple as the topping despite me not know how I feel about it. lol. Its a cute attraction and I'm grateful for the dinner option.

TONS of options - Edit
Found this place last minute desperate for vegan food. Lots of different vegan friendly options. The place is not 100% vegan. It’s easy to substitute vegan cheese for things and them still be vegan friendly (without butter etc).

Great entertainment, great food - Edit
Loved this restaurant. The town is quaint and lovely and this restaurant adds to the charm. It is converted from an old theater and they show movies several nights a week. Twice a month they have a live jazz band, which we just happened to catch. It was wonderfully enjoyable! I was surprised that in a small town like that, they would have daiya cheese and soy sage for our pizza. The pizza was very large and it tasted delicious!
