Cool little place, great food - Edit
Cozy little place back in a courtyard. There are signs so keep an eye out for them. It is one of the last buildings on the main road from the beach. We ended up eating there twice in one day it was so good. Really good juice that was huge. Had a Coconut Bacon burger that was excellent. Cool staff that would hang out and talk with you. Best or second best meal the whole trip. Veggie heaven. All vegan.

The burgers are amazing! I took the one with guacamole and my mom took the philly one which was superior and another time I took the yogi bowl which was one of the best bowl ever tasted! Really recommend

Lovely restaurant right at the beach. It looks really nice, especially at night with all those lights. Had the burger with coconut meat and avocado, plus sweet potato fries. All in all, the food is good.
Read moreI am giving 4 out of 5 stars cause I feel that for 5 stars the taste could be improved, in order to have that “wow” or “mmmhhhhhh” experience. Also, service a little slow (waited for ever to get the menu, then to order and finally for the bill and change).
They also have vegan pancakes but didn’t try them (yet)!
Little pricey, but it’s Costa Rica and thus very touristy.
Apparently, they also offer yoga classes

We both loved Luvburger! My husband got a classic burger, and I got tacos made from the crumbled burger and lotsa other savory stuff. We also got yuca fries that came with a KILLER garlic aioli. And their smoothies ROCK.

Most delicious vegan burgers and sandwiches - Edit
A non-vegan friend of mine and I spent the weekend in Sámara and ended up having ALL of our meals here because it was so freaking good. I had had the Cocobacon Burger at the San José restaurant,but it was even more delicious in Samara. All of the food is super flavorful and filling. Plus the ambients is incredible, especially at night. Loved it so much!

I’ve eaten here on two separate trips to Sámara over the last two years. They’ve moved to a beach front property in 2018 and the food is as good as I remember! Gallo pinto for breakfast is stellar. The avocado toast and smoothies are delicious! The Yogi Bowl and the Falafel Burger are excellent (and huge). If you don’t absolutely love coconut bacon beware: everything with coco bacon comes LOADED with the stuff. It’s good coco bacon, but the amount is a little over the top. Now that they have a beach front property you can lay in the chairs all day and they’ll come check on you periodically to see if you need anything. It’s like a mini vegan resort without the hotel! Last year we were told their cookies had bee honey in them, this year we were told that’s not the case and that they call simple syrup “miel” which is the word for honey. It’s confusing because plenty of vegan places in CR use bee’s honey as a sweetener or to make sticky sauces more loose. Just be sure to ask before you order anything sweet. I’ve become accustomed to asking specifically if something contains honey *made from bees.*

Thanks to Happy Cow we found this place with just vegan food. For breakfast we had the gallo pinto, the oatmeal and the luv burger casado. It was delicious and the portions were really big. We came back in the evening for 2 burger combos - one with the coconut bacon and the other one was the onion melt burger. With a salad (super fresh and light) and lemonade and pipa fria (coconut water). Althoug we were so full, we tried the superfood ice cream and the cheesecake. Everything tasted so good. And the staff was friendly and fast. Did I mention that it is directly on the beach with an awesome view?

Best Vegan Burgers We've Ever Had - Edit
We stayed in Samara for 5 days and had Luv Burger 4 times. The burgers are delicious and the view amazing. My favourite burger was the Cocobacon burger by far. Sweet potato fries are tasty and my 2 year old's favourite there for sure. The food is a little expensive; however, we found most other places to be of comparable price too. Similarly, like most places in Samara, Luv Burger only takes cash.

Food was really nice so al my stars to the kitchen! We ordered combo, we received burger, then 12-15mins later fries came and after all our drinks. Really? After we got everything girl who served us not even one time came to ask if everything is alright if we want something else. I was keen to try their dessert, once another waiter passed our table I have asked for a menu and had to wait for 15minutes it hasn’t been brought.. so we ended up of just going to the bar to settle the account. If you were wandering if they were busy.. no they weren’t :)

We stayed via Airbnb in Samara and this included the breakfast at luv burger. I recommend the Gallo pinto. It tastes very good. As sides come fruits, tortilla triangles, avocado slices, plantains, tomato salad and a green hot spicy sauce. All in all very delicious. My boyfriend hat the blueberry bowled which comes ice cold and with cerials in it. We found both great and we had no appetite since afternoon. We went there for burgers as well. The patty is made of beans and lentils and tastes good. I had the coconut bacon burger. The coconut stripes are dried and taste a little smokey but not enough for my taste. Nevertheless both burgers are good. The fries are okay, but I do not need them personally.

We went several times. I didn't like the burgers, I didn't like the fries, I didn't like the hot caju milk (very spicy, not sweety). It is not clear if they use honey (from bees) or not, and they no longer had agave syrup so all came without sugar, the pancakes for example ...

Amazing, wholesome & tasty veg burgers & salad! - Edit
I'm a vegetarian for 6 years now and I must say it's not easy to come across vegan places that serve meatless, healthy and wholesome menu that are tasty and hearty! LuvBurger managed to do just that, with a fairly big menu n selection that u can indulge. Especially I must say, turning up at a small surf town in Meat-eating Costa Rica sure is a pleasant surprise for me! Plus, it's tucked away at a nice and quaint courtyard where it's nice to chill over dessert and coffee, or For some laptop working time. Kudos Luvburger! ;)

The Burgers are extremely delicious. If you visit this Restaurant you HAVE to try them. The other things were also quite good but not as good as the burgers though. The atmosphere is nice and calm and the people are friendly. Super cute cats running around.

Everything we have tried was absolutely delicious! I wish we had stayed a little longer so we could have sampled some more dishes of their amazing menu. Nice atmosphere and staff. The Cocobacon was a revelation. If you're lucky you can buy it to go in the little shop that's attached to the restaurant.

At the entrance of Samara I was happy to see the vegan sign from LuvBurger - the next 4 days I went there to have a Smoothie for lunch and a menu for dinner.
