Good choices, excellent food - Edit
I spotted the menu for this pub while scoping out a walk for the family along the coast.
Read moreThey were very busy when we arrived but found a table for us (I’d recommend booking).
There were a few starter and small plate options. I had the patatas bravas which came with salsa and a coconut yoghurt.
There were also a few main course options - a curry, two burgers and sandwiches that I can remember. Possibly more. I had the crispy cauliflower and smashed pea sandwich with came in focaccia with sriracha mayo and was really delicious. I had the triple cooked chips which were honestly the best I’ve had for a while.
There were also few dessert options - cheesecake, torte and sorbet. I know it’s a low bar but I’m happy with any option beyond sorbet! I had the chocolate and raspberry torte and it was lovely.
It is quite expensive but I felt we got what we paid for.
Pros: Good options, Good service, Excellent food
Cons: Nothing

Poor service - Edit
Tried to go at 7:45pm on a Thursday in April. Although they were taking orders from other tables, they told us the kitchen was closed. Went to The Castle Inn (just up the street in West Lulworth) instead and had a great meal there 😀

Lovely food - Edit
Went here for lunch, was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the food was here. A tad in the pricey side but well worth it.

Tasty but not many options - Edit
The plant based burger was really tasty, it came with onion rings and nice filings, but it was only one of two options. There was also a vegan dessert option, but we didn't try it as it was quite expensive.

Nice burger but expensive and the service was poor - Edit
This pub is in a popular location and a lovely setting. Dogs are welcome. There are a couple of vegan starters and mains plus a vegan dessert.
Read moreThe burger was delicious but expensive and the service was very poor. The tempura onions we ordered as a side were missing and took ages to come. When they finally arrived, as we were finishing our meal, they were greasy.
Pros: Vegan options available
Cons: Expensive , Poor service
