disappointing

I have taken ages to get a lunch here, and perhaps it is totally vegan my expectations were too high.
it's a nicely set up cafe, clean and friendly with a nice feel.
the food was not that great, relying heavily and way too much on meat substitutes. we hade the chickpea sandwich which was okay. a chilli dog, which I think was a Fry's hot-dog, and loaded Nacho's, which were bland and tasteless.
the coffee was really poor and overall it was poor value for money.
I really never really like to give negative reviews, but I am struggling for positive words.

Are you sure you went to 4 High Street South Queensferry?
We are still very much open and trading and our premises is not and nor has it been boarded up at all.
I'm confused?

Edinburgh's first all-Vegan diner

Relaxed cafe, open late with live music in the evenings. Serves American diner-style foods like hotdogs/chilli dogs, soya/almond flavoured milkshakes, coffees and teas, toasties (chickpea 'tuna', tempeh rashers, or tofurky and violife), and puddings like brownies, apple pie or banana split with vegan ice cream.


A nice spot in the centre of South Queensferry, so lovely to combine with a day out to see the Bridges.

Pros: Freshly made, all vegan food, Nice location, near 63 bus stop , Relaxed atmosphere

Cons: Card machine broken so take cash, Not advertised enough :-)
