i love lucy's!! - Edit
although there are no listed vegan options, there are a good number of veggie options that can easily be made vegan, and they also offer vegan sausage and tofu scramble. they can also do complete modifications of their specials! i had the spanish omlette special because some of the ingredients sounded great, and they were able to do all of the fixings with no omlette shell, and instead tofu scramble and vegan sausage! but the spicy skillet is also delicious, again very easy to make the swap, and the root vegetable hash is also a delicious option (ask for the chimichurri sauce instead along with the other swaps!)

the staff is very sweet and knowledgable of all ingredients and is so helpful in making sure everything on the plate is vegan.

Good meal, minimal options - Edit
Lucy's doesn't have vegan options listed or marked on their menu. They do offer vegan sausage and tofu scramble that can be swapped for other options on meals. They used to have it on their menu, but after asking the waitress directly, they were able to make the previously listed Vegan Scramble which has Lucy's potatoes (very good golden homefrie potatoes), spinach, tomatoes, tofu scramble and veggies. I added vegan sausage and mushrooms. The skillet was big, filling and very good. However, I was sad that I had to ask for it. It would be nice nice if they had it on the menu and were more direct about vegan options. But overall, I'm glad they had it because it was tasty but not a place with a lot of options. I also got a mocha with oat milk, love when a place has alternative milks.

Sunday breakfast - Edit
Visited on Sunday around 8:45 and plenty of seating available. Many options to choose from but I went with the vegan skillet - portion was on par for price $12, had to take half home. So flavorful and not bland - really yummy.

This cafe was really busy by noon on Sunday, but the wait wasn't bad and made better by the availability of an adjoining coffeeshop. The menu has a wide variety of creative meat and dairy based breakfast items, but very few and less imaginative vegan options. Vegetarians should do just fine, vegans not as much.

It was basically mashed black beans shaped into a cake that managed to be both sour and spicy while having a very mushy texture. Of the two vegan toast options (gluten-free or sour dough), the sour dough was tasty but served with the teeniest imaginable dollops of jam--no vegan butter available. I would go back with enthusiastic omnis who wanted to, but not otherwise.

Really good brunch - Edit
We had a really good brunch last Saturday. Lots of good vegetarian choices, and the coffee was excellent. The outdoor patio looked nice, but it was too hot to sit outside! Appreciate that they are making their own veg sausage patties and burgers in-house. The decor is nice, service was great.
