Simple but great

The restaurant has a simple layout. Nothing fancy but that's part of the charm. You enter, pay at the register and then you can walk to the buffet to help yourself. There's a variety of basics, sides and salad. All good tasting.

The staff is very kind!

It's easy to reach by bus. Take note that Naver sent me to the backside of the building.

Pros: Kind staff, Easy to reach by bus, Good taste

Was closed

Another restaurant in Korea which was closed when i was there. Staff was around tho. They said they reported their opening hours several times to Happycow and still they are wrong. What a waste of time.

My stomach is about to explode

My first Loving Hut experience. I love buffet style vegan food and this hit the spot perfectly. Even though they were going to close soon, they still cooked some fresh food for us. The owners were truly very friendly! It was only 9,000원 per person, wow!!

Pros: Fantastic buffet with great selection, Super friendly staff, VERY CHEAP!!

Great buffet!

Plenty of choice for delicious vegan foods. Vegan dukbokki, bean porridge, plenty of other options. The couple that run it are super friendly and helpful.

Loving Hut MOVED

This restaurant recently relocated to Seosindong near E-mart and offers a modest buffet of vegan dishes for a moderate price (9,000won for adult; 5,000won for students).

This small buffet is owned by a vegan couple who kindly greet me in English every time that I arrive. Their new restaurant is quite large with many tables including both chair and floor seating.

They mostly focus on vegan versions of classic Korean dishes, such as a delicious samgyetang for the hot summer season! However, they also had a tomato “steak” that went well with the accompanying pasta. The buffet also has a wide variety of seasonal Korean side dishes, a salad bar featuring bread with a rich coconut cream topping, and coffee.

My personal favorite is a fried “chicken” dish called 콩살맛나, that is covered in a sweet and savory sauce and topped with almond slices and sesame seeds. It’s a bit heavy, but goes perfectly with the lighter side dishes like kimchi and soybean sprout side dish. If you go at a busy time, it’s possible they will change the items out so that you can try an even wider variety of dishes. Perhaps show them this review if you want to try my favorite menu item. ;)

They also offer some products for sale, including vegan ramen and medjool dates. These things can be a great addition to your pantry when you can’t be bothered to cook for yourself.

Pros: Good Price, Many Dishes, All Vegan!
