Nice ambience, food and service needs improvement

We had a work lunch at Love and Scandal and loved the move to go 100% plant-based and they have many varieties of plant-based milk, which is great! Unfortunately, we waited nearly an hour for our lunch and the staff didn't apologise or keep us up to date, when my food arrived (a burger and sweet potato fries) the bun was burnt, there weren't enough fries for what I paid (nearly £4!) and the burger was hard. We didn't find the staff friendly, which was more concerning than the delay and we expected better customer service.

Pros: Lovely ambience, Lovely menu, Great move going plant-based

Cons: Staff is disorganised and rude, Slow service, Expensive
