Back to selling meat! - Edit

I work in the area and have eaten here a few times; and was very happy when they became 100% vegan. Unfortunately that was fairly short-lived and within a few weeks dairy was back on the menu. Last week I was going to have lunch there, but saw on their menu that they'd returned to full-on meaty dishes. I realise that going plant-based can be a gamble and that a restaurant needs customers in order to pay bills, but that's one less vegan eatery for us in London. Oh well!

Pros: Friendly staff, Vegan cakes

Cons: Returned to the dark-side

Staff/Owners are very friendly and helpful, they have a relatively small lunch menue and some sweet treats. Had a soup and a muffin and theres nothing bad to say about it. It was a delicious soup and a delicious muffin. Would defo go there again if near by. Also its close to waterloo station.

Nice little place near Waterloo station - Edit

A small vegan place very close to Waterloo station. Polite staff, reasonable prices with a small lunch menu. The cakes are very tasty. The pumpkin spice cake is so tasty with balanced flavors. You can taste the orange, the pumpkin, walnuts and cinnamon!

Pros: near Waterloo station, polite staff, tasty cakes

Cons: not too many lunch choices

Nice ambience, food and service needs improvement - Edit

We had a work lunch at Love and Scandal and loved the move to go 100% plant-based and they have many varieties of plant-based milk, which is great! Unfortunately, we waited nearly an hour for our lunch and the staff didn't apologise or keep us up to date, when my food arrived (a burger and sweet potato fries) the bun was burnt, there weren't enough fries for what I paid (nearly £4!) and the burger was hard. We didn't find the staff friendly, which was more concerning than the delay and we expected better customer service.

Pros: Lovely ambience, Lovely menu, Great move going plant-based

Cons: Staff is disorganised and rude, Slow service, Expensive

delicious coffee and cakes and more! - Edit

This is a great place in very central London just by Waterloo Station and 5 mins from London Eye. Great selection of hot home cooked meals and amazing coffee and cakes. This time round I had poppy seed cake with icing and an oat milk latte. Cake was moist and portion was big! Yum!

Pros: lots of vegan cakes!, great location by Waterloo and London Eye!, amazing coffees!

Great place for a cuppa! - Edit

Lovely cafe that just recently converted to vegan which is hugely encouraging to see! Too early to really evaluate the food as they are still putting new things on the menu and ordering in vegan cakes and treats. I had an earl grey tea with oat milk. Best tea I've had in ages, lovely flavor from the loose tea leaves. Had a roast veg panini with vegan cheese which was fine, nothing amazing but that can be altered with time, need something like a vegan pesto to lift the flavor. But will definitely be back to see what this great cafe has to offer in the coming months :)

Pros: New on the vegan scene. Gorgeous selection of fre

Cons: Lack of variety food wise at moment
