Nice Vegan Cafe - Edit
A 100% vegan cafe with a chill environment. Unfortunately when we visited there was an event going on in the cafe, so their menu was very limited to those not participating in the event and we were not able to sit down in the cafe. The staff was still very kind and there were spots to sit outside the cafe. They use soymilk in their drinks by default but have other plant milk options upon request. We got a “buttered” pretzel and chai tea latte. I normally find pretzels quite dry but the vegan butter added a nice moisture to this one. The latte was very beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked.

Perfekter Lernspot - Edit
Mein Go-To Lerncafé in München. Immer etwas voll, deshalb lohnt es sich etwas früher zu kommen. Das Essen und die Getränke (vor allem der Chai Latte) sind sehr gut!!

Best coffee I had whilst in Munich - Edit
I had a lovely coffee and croissant. All the food and drinks are vegan, all the staff we spoke to spoke excellent English and put our German to shame! Small but tasty selection of sandwiches that can be heated up. Great spot if you're in the area.

Delicious - Edit
We had a Tomato-Cheese Panini, which was so delicious that I came back the next day to eat it again. We also had Butter-Brezeln and a Croissant. Loved it there. Lots of students and music. Cozy place in Munich

Best croissant - Edit
I had an apricot croissant to go, it was delicious! I haven't eaten a good vegan croissant in years. The place is really cozy, perfect for studying or just hanging out. They also have live shows.

A good place to work - Edit
Our food was delicious! We ordered a Schnitzel Semmel, a cheese panini and a butter pretzel (all of it vegan and reasonably priced). If you like cinnamon definitely try the vanilla cinnamon coffee. It’s made with alpro vanilla soy milk and tasted so good! Just know that this place feels more like a co working space and less like a cozy café.

Friendly atmosphere, tasty simple food - Edit
This place is a very trendy hangout popular with students. The atmosphere is great - good music, regular events - with good coffee and simple, reasonably-priced food. The food itself is not particularly special, but the staff are great and very accommodating. When we visited, it was very busy but we were served quickly and enjoyed it.

Great Space, Food, and Drinks! - Edit
This cafe has a great selection of both snacks and sweeter treats, so it's a good place to stop for breakfast or a little lunch (or anything in between). I appreciate that they have a good list of options for plant milks; I find that many cafes, even vegan ones, rarely have more than oat and maybe soy (and the coffee is very good). So far I enjoyed a "schnitzel" Semmel and a Beeren Streusel, both of which I would definitely recommend (Streusel was nice and not too sweet), and I'm already looking forward to trying more on my next visit!
Read moreThe atmosphere is also super nice. It's located right in the heart of the university area, and it's a welcoming space to stay longer and work or read, but it's also definitely worth a visit if you're just passing through! The staff is very friendly too.
Pros: Many delicious vegan treats and drinks, Nice atmosphere, Friendly Staff
Cons: I don't live closer!

10/10 - Edit
Easily the most friendly staff I’ve ever met. Some of the staff were Irish and noticed my Irish accent and we had a great conversation. This all-vegan coffee shop has many treats/snacks as well as sandwiches and wraps. Coffee was €4 which was very reasonable IMO

Just know what to expect - Edit
Lots of these negative reviews I'm reading here are comparing this place to how it used to be. Fine, that's disappointing. No, they don't have a lot of food. What do they have still? Lots of seating, inside and out, good coffee, choice of non-cow milk, and cool vibes. I don't spend a lot of time in Munich so maybe there are a bunch of hip little cafes with oat milk, etc, that I don't know about. In the mean time, Lost Weekend hits all my requirements.

some years ago, it was amazing with those sandwiches and cakes. stopped having sandwiches soon enough to offer some basic vegan options. now the menu is even less attractive. it feels like it gets worse every year. coffee is still good, yet pricey.

Limited breakfast assortment, awesome sorbet - Edit
Came here for breakfast but there was not that much to choose from, maybe it's because of corona. No savory dishes such as sandwiches, only cakes and plain croissants. The vegan croissant was very nice, the matcha latte was just ok, no strong matcha flavour at all. They sold two kinds of sorbet in summer for 1 euro per scoop, which is mindblowingly cheap for munich. I tried maracuja and it was soooo good.
