Tasty vegan snacks and cosy atmosphere - Edit

This café is awesome. It's near the university in a nice neighbourhood, the atmosphere is very cosy and their staff is also very friendly.
I had teriyaki sandwich and a chocolate croissant, both were really good.
Loved it! Definitely a recommendation!

Pros: cosy atmosphere , friendly staff, yummy

Hipster hangout with great coffee and good food - Edit

This is a coffee shop/bookstore which gives it a very nice atmosphere. At all times you can find students from the nearby university hanging out/working on their laptops. They have the typical coffee shop selection but Matcha Latte and Dirty Chai and the like. There are 4 kinds of sandwiches, a couscous salad, different cakes and some pastries (including the only vegan apricot croissant I have ever been able to find- yum!). The staff is always friendly, they speak english, take credit cards and everything is for take-out as well.

Pros: Apricot croissants!!!!

Cons: none

lost weekend - Edit

I just love the vegan coffee bar!! There was so much variety and everThing is vegan! I had the antipasti sandwich and a mini croissant and a cappuccino with soy vanilla milk and a chocolate croissant for take away for only 11,50€! The food was delicious and everThing else looked good too. There is a book shop too which is also really nice :) it's cosy and quiet.

great vibe& all vegan - Edit

This is where all of the cool university kids hang out! Everything is vegan and their marble cake is delicious. They have many milk options (oat, almond, soy, coconut) and they take credit cards

ehhh - Edit

It was alright. Nice looking place, lots of university students. VERY small choice of food. I had the tofu sandwich and it was average. Not worth the €3.90 I paid.

Pros: nice looking

Cons: small choice of food, over priced, average service

Lovely little café - Edit

The hot chocolate with oat milk is amazing! They have a good range of sandwiches (Semmeln), salads, puddings, cakes, hot drinks and non-dairy milk alternatives. This place is great for lunch and for coffee and cake in the morning or afternoon. There was a queue but they were very quick and we didn't have to wait long. Lost Weekend is a 2-min walk from the Universität tube stop which makes it really easy to get to. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to go there again!

Pros: big range of delicious all vegan food, price, location

Cons: not so much seating, however, we got seats without

my heart belongs to Lost Weekend - Edit

Basically all vegan coffee shops are where I wanna live.

On of my favorite things is coffee and then things that go with coffee.
I especially love a really well made latte, which the barista was really helpful with in choosing an appropriate milk(from one of their many dairy free options) for my latte.
I had a chocolate croissant there and then another pastry to go for later.

It has a great layout with lots of big tables and cushions on the side for a nice relaxing hang out vibe. I want to go back!

Pros: great coffee, great food, lovely atmosphere

Good for a quick snack - Edit

Very close to Universitat metro station, easy to find, serves good coffee, a selection of sandwitches and cakes. There is also a bookstore inside.

Pros: price value, location, calm and vibrant atmosphere

Cons: sometimes slow service, not so tasty cakes

A must for a coffee or light lunch - Edit

This place was fantastic. They have everything you need whether you're just going for a coffee, tea, a "dirty hippy" or lunch - their sandwich and pastry selection is excellent. We had the barbecue "chicken" and the tofu veggie sandwich and as soon as we got home we tried to replicate them. It didn't work. We still dream about them though. The service was friendly, the one guy who waited on was very friendly with a good sense of humor. The atmosphere was great, especially if you like bookshops. It would be a nice place to sit for a few hours and study.

Pros: customer service, menu

Cons: not open on christmas ;)

productivity - Edit

when I went to this café, I felt a bit down, but the friendly staff and the productive atmosphere changed that in no time. the café is bright with big wood tables, many students are working there by enjoying coffee or like me dirty chai (chai with espresso shot, amazing) and the integrated book store sells a nice collection of books and "reclam hefte". should i ever come back to munich i would definitely go there!

Pros: vegan great atmosphere working place

Bookstore and coffee bar - Edit

Lost Weekend is a hip and rightly hyped coffee bar next to Munich university. It serves all-vegan food, e.g. sandwiches, coffee, tea, salads, and cake. The staff is friendly, the snacks are delicious and the atmosphere is inspiring for there's a book store at the same place. You can buy a book, drink a coffee and enjoy yourself. Totally recommended!

Pros: Atmosphere, Taste, Staff

Cons: like everything in Munich pretty pricy

Cool place to get some work done - Edit

This little cafe is great for meetings and getting some work done. Simple but tasty and inexpensive pre-made paninis offered with a few side dishes and several desserts.
It's popular with students, next to univ. large communal tables.
I had grilled veggie panini 3.90, parfait 3.50, and a green tea 2.90.
Great music.

Pros: all vegan, nice space, Great music
