Good traditional Japanese breakfast!

Staff was very willing to help adjust the standard meals to make them vegetarian or vegan. Meal options are standard for the day, but staff was able to switch some out to make them vegetarian vegan (tofu dish instead of fish, stuff bell pepper)

Pros: Wonderful staff! Very accommodating , Delicious food, with variety (many small plates) , Inexpensive for vegetarians/vegans!

Cons: No dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu item

Accommodating chef 👍

It is a place which indeed knows it fish. But when told i didn't eat fish the cook was very accommodating and used Google translate to make sure he knew exactly what he could serve.
I am vegetarian so I got tofu and egg and it was all really well prepared.

It is on the ground floor, so I assume people in wheelchairs also can use this place ☺️

Pros: Cook makes sure he knows exactly what to sure, Good vibe

Cons: The food takes a minute to make, but worth it.

Delightful breakfast

Even though that is a fish specialized place, I had a great vegan breakfast. Miso soup was so tasty and warming and the tofu is local and really good (black sesame tofu was incredibly soft).
I emailed them the day before to see if they could make the vegan version and there was no problem, but specify that dashi (it has fish) is not ok!!
Table booking only possible if you want tea pairing.

Pros: Staff is friendly and speaks english

Cons: The place smells a wee fishy, Small place so you probably have to wait
