Pretty good

Got a schnitzel burger, filet burger, chips with gravy and buffalo wings. Wouldn’t rate the wings too much, really liked the schnitzel burger, hubby wasn’t overly fussed on filet burger, I was looking forward to the gravy but it didn’t deliver. Pretty average first time but would go again and would recommend to check it out at least once

NO MORE VEGAN OPTIONS

Updated Dec 2023: Changed owners, no longer has vegan options

Plenty of options and things you wouldn’t ordinarily see at a vegan takeaway place, like a vegan steak sandwich. They make vegan fish and chips with banana flowers! Lovely staff too.

Still has chips

The previous owners enjoyed a lot of customers thanks to Happy Cow and local vegan groups, I would expect they will stay away now. Did keep vegetarian option but not really looking for that, also seemed to indicate a misunderstanding that fish is vegetarian.

Pros: Still has chips

Cons: No exclusively vegan options, Not even a vegan burger

Avoid

As per previous review no longer the vegan paradise since changing owners. Owners are even somewhat hostile towards people who ask for vegan.

NO LONGER HAS VEGAN OPTIONS

Owner sold the business in February 2023- new owners have not one vegan or even Vegetarian option on their menu despite past owner leaving behind their vegan recipes and ingredients when they old the restaurant. Shame on new owners.

Disappointed

I really had night hopes for this place as there are so many vegan options but was so disappointed. I tried the battered vegan chicken skewer with coleslaw and pickle from the vegan Alive festival last weekend in Gosford. The pickle and coleslaw were good but the vegan chicken skewer was downright AWFUL. It was soft and almost gooey. By far the worst mock chicken I've ever had. Perhaps their other vegan options are nice but I'm not sure I'm willing to make a special trip there for it.

Cons: Vegan option was not nice at all

Good

Tried the cheeseburger and southern fried chicken burger. Both really good. The southern fried chicken burger could have fed us both by itself. Also had great vegan chicken salt on the chips which deserves bonus points. Only thing I would avoid is the heat cabinet offerings if they've been there a while. Otherwise we were very impressed!

Best chips (and best takeaway store)

I love this place! It’s got vegan versions of all takeaway favourites - always delicious, generous, and such friendly service!
Definitely my favourite hot chips on the central coast 😍

Pros: Lots of vegan options (sweet and savoury), Affordable and generous serve , Best hot chips

Cons: Sometimes don’t have my favourite mushroom burger

So delicious!

We had the vegan cheeseburger, vegan steak sandwich and oreo cheesecake and they were so good! The staff were so lovely, we are definitely going back!

Vegan takeaway food!

Love seeing a local business (that isn't vegan) do awesome vegan options. Not just salads or falafel but well thought out fun classic takeaway shop food.

Lots of options

This place is good if you want typical takeaway shop meals. I haven’t had much food there that I’ve actually enjoyed but I appreciate their effort. Smoothies are kinda just crushed ice and flavour.

Super greasy and left a sour taste

We ate here for lunch after hearing so many wonderful reviews. We had the vegan fish and chips and the jackfruit burger. The chippies and tartare sauce were yummy but I was not a fan of the fish (better alternatives around) or the consistency of the burger and everything was so oily. Our main concern was how we felt shortly after eating (having not eaten anything else that day) and how our stomachs have both caused us some grief for days following.. very friendly staff does not make up for it and we won't be back.

Cons: Greasy, overpriced, left us feeling ill

Great find on The Central Coast

Was pleased to find a takeaway shop with more options than just hot chips. Full vegan menu and friendly staff. We tried the jackfruit burger (delicious), vegan fish and chips (ok) and the buffalo wings (yummy). Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

Great food and lovely service!

Great little takeaway store with a full vegan menu. Lots of choices ranging from burgers to fish and chips. The lady who works there is very friendly and is always evolving her vegan friendly options. Also a short walk to the waterfront which is great for a picnic.
