AVOID if you care about food being vegan

Honestly, the experience here was shocking to us. Among our order was a vegan burger, clearly marked with the typical vegan logo on the menu.

This burger came with fries that had a sauce with it looking suspiciously similar to mayonnaise. I asked the waiter, and he confirmed that it was mayonnaise. He then said the vegan burger had cheese on it as well..

There wasn't actually any cheese on it, but this kind of apparent chaos and miscommunication doesn't exactly instill any trust in a vegan customer. I told the waiter, as politely as I could, that if a dish has the typical leafy "V" logo next to it, everyone's expectation will be that the entire dish is going to be 100% vegan, and that even those with severe egg or dairy allergies may rely on that.

It took him quite a while to get back to me, and when he did he said that personally he agreed with me, but that the chef did not. It was obvious from his reaction that the chef got hostile about it to him.

Honestly I was uncomfortable during the entire meal. If this chef gets angry because a dish clearly marked vegan is definitely not vegan, what else has he put in my food?!

If you treat your vegan customers like this, why the hell would you put the restaurant on Happy Cow?

I will never go to this place again. I'd rather be hungry.

Pros: Actual food was quite okay, At least the waiter was respectful

Cons: Dishes marked vegan are DEFINITELY NOT vegan, The chef does not give a [censored] about your veg, Many drafts beers / menu items were unavailable
