We've been travelling for a month and this place is stand out for us with price & taste. We've been back everyday!
Read more*An update to this review after our third and final visit as the food has been so good. We waited over an hour for our food and it was pretty bad, my fried noodles was tofu and what seemed like packet noodles. My partner got the wrong meal too. So maybe a bit hit and miss!**

Unfortunate experience - Edit
We had a very unfortunate experience at this place. We were the only customers and eventually the place wasn't ready to serve guests. We got our food after one hour. Pity as the menu looks excellent in terms of choices. It ended up that the owner itself didn't let us pay for the dinner.

Delicious nasi campur, lots of vegan options - Edit
The menu has an extensive choice for vegans/veggies. They have a nasi campur option where you can choose all the elements to add to your nasi campur (like tofu,tempeh, curry, jackfruit/sweetcorn fritters etc.), which was so fun and really delicious. Plus, it’s amazing value for money - in my picture, the meal came to 45k! Pretty cheap for the crazy amount of food you get. The food took a while to come but i think we got unlucky as there was a big table waiting before us. Would highly recommend and the restaurant setting Is really nice. Seems to be connected to a hotel.

I got the Nasi campur and it was delicious. They have so many vegan options and the staff has an understanding of what is vegan and what isn’t. The food did take a while but it was worth it.

Great ambience and food at Lockdown Kitchen. We had the Tempeh Burger and Olah Olak. Additional we got free cold water which was nice. The food was exceptional and we will come back for sure.

Read moreFirst we got free water and banana chips. After finally deciding what we wanted, we really enjoyed our food. The best food on the Gili Islands so far (only "My House" on Gili T has comparable quality).

Everything was soooo good, but the lentil curry was even a bit better.
The coconuts are huge, 1 for 2 persons is totally fine, even without the free water.
The prices are low, for 3 mains and the 2 huge coconuts 140k is more than reasonable.
Only the waiting time for the food at peak lunch-time was pretty high, we had to wait more than 1 hour for our food. But seriously, even 3 hours of waiting would have been worth it!
TOTAL RECOMMENDATION!!!

Small restaurant with 3 tablrs. Feels like a fancy warung. Food is absolutely amazing! best place weve been on Gili air. Try the Nasi Padang with several small dishes. Vegan rendang is off the charts!
