Best Thai Food Ever - Edit
If you’re looking for excellent vegan food in Tagaytay, Lime n Basil is an absolute gem. 🌱
Read moreWe were pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully crafted and flavorful their vegan options were. Every dish felt intentional and satisfying, not just an afterthought on the menu.
Some highlights from our meal: • Bagoong Fried Rice (vegan version) – rich, savory, and deeply satisfying
• Tofu Curry – fragrant, creamy, and perfectly spiced
• Tofu with Garlic – simple but incredibly flavorful
• Lime n Basil Salad – fresh, bright, and well-balanced
• Tom Yum Soup – comforting with the perfect tang
• Crispy Oyster Mushrooms – addictive, crispy, and umami-packed
• Pad Thai Noodles – beautifully cooked with great texture and flavor
What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely accommodating to vegan requests, making it easy to enjoy the meal without any hesitation.
It’s refreshing to find a place where plant-based diners are genuinely considered. Whether you’re vegan or simply curious about great Thai food, Lime n Basil Tagaytay is definitely worth a visit.
Highly recommended! 🌿✨
Pros: Excellent vegan options that taste clean., Staff are knowledgeable and accommodating.
Cons: Outdoor. So there will sometimes be flies.

Huge place, good food - Edit
Came here on a Sunday evening. I didn't expect the place to be that huge (basically a big tent with open sides), and not sure if it was the season, or the fact that there was strong rain before, but there were not many other guests.
Read moreI followed the advice given below and asked straight for the vegan menu, and ordered the tofu curry and the pad thai. Both together were quite a lot for a single person, but the taste was excellent, I dare to say very authentic.

good food but below average service - Edit
lots of vegetarian options, but PLEASEEE ASK FOR THEIR VEGAN MENU!! they don't show it by default huhuhu there's a lot of vegan options too so it'd be a waste if you don't get to order from it. didn't get the menu the first time we were here and i accidentally ate chicken and seafood
Read morethe menu was also a bit difficult to navigate cuz there weren't any pictures and all the dish names were in thai, so reading and comparing each dish description was a hassle
we had trouble calling the waiter's attention since we were seated a bit far from the kitchen. would've been harder if we were seated farther
contrary to the service, the food, on the other hand, was great
got the mango sticky for dessert and it as sooooo good!! not too sweet and the sticky rice had the prefect comforting texture!!!
also got the spicy tofu curry. the tofu chunks were awkwardly large but it didn't bother me too much naman it didn't affect the taste anyway, just the texure. this also makes the serving quiet large akshsj took me 4 meals to finish it all. it was also too spicy for my taste so just be wary
theres also a lot of tables so it can definitely accomodate large parties, though im not sure if reservations are required
its was also very aesthetic and instagramable hehe so much calming cozy greenery. would recommend going for dinner for the aesthetic
A for effort on the variety and quality of food but the service could be a lot better. would come back to try the other dishes tho

Nice foods in a great atmosphere - Edit
Lime and Basil is one of the few options where you can get vegan food in this erea. The restaurant is beautiful and perfect for a Romantic dinner, but keep in mind to reserve a table! For the vegan options you have to ask then for their "vegan card" there you will find plenty of tasty items, they are all named in Thai, but don't worry they team improved the card and added the core ingredients so you know what to expect. The food is very nice since they are often crowded, give the cook a bit more time, it's worth it.
Read moreBeside not being fully vegan I don't have any negative thing to say so 4 stars out of 5.
