Super delicious

We absolutely loved the eggplant Katsu bao’s - so much in fact that we ordered a second plate of them.
The eggplant was crunchy, tasty and combined with the cucumber Kim-chi, sauce & lettuce - Ohh my, blew our minds with flavour.
We also ordered the Wild Truffled Mushrooms, with black vinegar, sesame & chilli … Simply gorgeous!
Topped these with two sides (1) pickled papaya & cabbage slaw & (2) Asian greens … both were really yummy.
We were so engrossed in these dishes we forgot to take photos .. D’oh .. then remembered to take a shot of our second serve of the Egglpant Katsu Bao’s, after eating one each lol 😂
Considering this isn’t a Vegan restaurant, these guys totally understand Vegan 🌱fusion - lovely meal - best service.

Pros: We loved everything we ate - divine delicious food, Helpful & friendly service , Outside dining - nice setting

Cons: Not 100% Vegan, Could have more choices for Vegans

the mushroom dumplings are THE BEST

The mushroom dumplings were the best veggie dumplings i’ve ever had !! it’s so hard to find good dumplings that don’t have meat in them. Great service. Nice decor. Highly recommend.

Pros: A wide range of veggie options , Multiple mocktails for sober folks , Many choices of cocktails

Yummy vegan options

One of the better places in Noosa for vegan options. Light years has a great vibe, excellent food, big portions and great drinks. We accidentally over ordered thinking that we were getting a few side dishes to put together as our meal but instead it turns out we’d just ordered 4 big meals between two people! Which we got to look forward to eating the next day. We ordered the eggplant katsu bao buns, miso caramel eggplant, cumin spiced fried cauliflower, Asian greens and steamed rice - all of which was amazing. I would recommend this would be a great place to go with a group and share the food. The only downside I saw was that there wasn’t any vegan dishes that included any vegan protein but that’s to be expected when going out.

Pros: Vegan options to choose from, Great vibe , Friendly and accommodating staff

Cons: No vegan protein

We had the Shiitake Wontons and Eggplant Bao Buns. They were both delicious with great sauces that we poured over a bowl of sticky rice.

Pros: Good variety of vegan options, Amazing sauces with depth of flavours, Good service

Cons: Little pricey but worth it

A Little Exxy

This place is very Vegan friendly, there’s a Vegan dish in every section in the menu, and the staff are very accomodating and well versed on allergens and understand veganism.

The food is very tasty, and although the portion sizes are small for the price, they are surprisingly filling

Pros: Tasty, Good service

Cons: Expensive
