So delicious, great portions

As an update, we’ve been here three times since the writing of this review. It’s been less than a month.

The original review: We went on a Monday at 6:00pm and were the only people there. The owner spent most of our dinner with us so we got to have a lovely chat with her. She was extremely attentive to our needs and has an incredible story. This is a family-owned and family-run restaurant that opened in 2022. The front room has some items for sale, and the seating area has maybe 7-8 tables. There’s a big TV but we just turned it off so we could all chat.

The food was extremely fresh and so tasty. We loved the veggie combo platter. Sometimes the items on it switch but they remain vegan. We had the yellow lentils, green lentils, red lentils, collard greens, potato/cabbage mixture, and salad. The owner brought us delicious Shiro as well (it is a bit spicy). The total price for both of us (two adults with ravenous appetites) to be uncomfortably full was about $33, which is more than comparable to other restaurants in the area.

It seems like you can probably bring your own drinks (we asked for water and got plastic bottles, so just be aware if you don’t want that to bring your own water).

Great food, wonderful brand new restaurant in an old building with a quaint environment. We will be back!!
