Variety but uncomfortable - Edit

I really liked the warm decor in here, and I felt they had quite a few decent vegan options. I popped in for a takeaway panini half an hour before a Fringe show I'd booked was about to start a 10min walk away, so my impatience didn't really help my mood. Otherwise it probably wouldn't have bothered me that one of the staff went out for a cigarette when it seemed quite busy and I hadn't received my food yet.

The music was quite loud, there were a few groups of folk spread out in this small space and it felt like there were too many covers for what would have been a comfortable capacity. One guy had his chair blocking half of the entrance to shop, deep in conversation and didn't seem bothered he was in the way. As I waited in a tiny space for my sandwich a couple of people decided they wanted to order further items so there was toing and froing of me and another half a dozen customers dancing around each other, in a really warm atmosphere, whilst I waited the 10 mins or so for my panini. I felt quite uncomfortable and found it a bit stressful. Also, I needed the bathroom and I would have gone during my wait but couldn't see one, and where I thought it may have been I saw someone walk through a doorway, look around, and walk back out. I presumed my guess there may be a toilet there was wrong, but from other reviews it sounds like there was one hidden there somewhere. A sign saying "toilets this way" would have been helpful.

Finally my "beetroot hummus" panini was "hummus and lots of beetroot slices". I'm not keen on beetroot but thought I'd give "beetroot blended with lots of chickpeas" a go, but with the omission of a comma the inference of what I thought I was getting was not correct.

On a quiet afternoon I'd maybe go back to sit in and try a different panini + a tea.

Pros: Vegan options, Nice decor

Cons: Too many seats squashed in, A bit of a wait, Toilet not signposted

Nice vibe, decent food - Edit

Very friendly staff and a nice welcoming atmosphere. It's small, and the music was a. It too loud, but in general it was a nice vibe.

There were four vegan options, and I had the vegan falafel and hummus panini. I'd recommend the paninis over the wraps as they were more substantial.

Pros: Good portion sizes , Decent prices for a capital city , Location to city centre

Cons: Slightly restricted variety , Music was a bit loud

Go for panini or soup - Edit

Located between two of the main party areas in town - Cowgate and Grassmarket - it's in a good spot to grab a warm meal before a pub tour for instance. Let Me Eat Too is open every day from morning till when the night is just about to start.
There is always loud music playing and tables and chairs are made of palettes, so it's kind of a grunge-like place, hipster vibes. At first, honestly, I was surprised why this eatery would have an entry in happycow, since the food predominantly isn't vegan, vegan option are quite limited, most options cointain meat, there is even a picture on the wall showing a Red Riding Hood-ish girl eating a steak with bare hands. Actually though, considering that there are vegan soup choices often times available, and since vegan stuff is clearly labeled, it's probably a fair listing.
I ate there twice. First time I had a decent fennel soup (soups are chainging frequently) and the second time a really great falafel panini, so loved that! (And quite big, too.) However, unfortunately it's kinda uncomfortable there, for the "tables" are not high enough ( or, respectively, the "chairs" are too high). Also, they don't offer any beer (or any other alcohol) as far as I noticed.
There is a toilet (the reviewer before me wasn't sure), it's pretty well hidden though (entering on the left side in the wall, before the beverages).
Service was good. Outdoor seating available as well.

Pros: awesome panini, loud (and good) music

Cons: limited vegan options, uncomfortable seating, no beer (as fas as I've seen)

Good choice of very filling sandwiches - Edit

I noticed this place had a vegan sign on it so stopped in for a takeaway wrap, and had four options to choose from - roasted veg, falafel, beetroot with hummus, aubergine... I had the aubergine one and it was amazing, took a short while to be made as all done fresh but the wrap was huge, heated too, and was really delicious. Giant portion so that was really my main meal that day! I went back for a beetroot panini the next day and that was just as good, overflowing with quality filling.

It does have space for a few groups to eat in but it's hipster pallet furniture which I didn't find that comfy! Really warm though so a lovely resting point on a grey rainy day :)

Pros: Huge portions, Fresh and tasty, Good value

Cons: Not too comfy/smallish seating area, Didn't notice if they had a toilet
