Great vegan deli style cafe! - Edit

I chose the lasagne as well as the potato gratin (I was really hungry) that were on offer that day and both were super tasty! I also had shot chocolate which was good and a slice of carrot cake - also amazing! The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was nice. Would definitely return to try some of the other things on offer if I’m in the area again.

Pros: Great service, All vegan, Good location in Old Quebec

Gorgeous, cozy Vegan gem in Quebec City - Edit

Visited here today and enjoyed everything about this place. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff and so many delicious options. We had the lasagne and a burger, followed by coffee and cakes. Very satisfyingly filled - particularly on a bitterly cold day in Quebec City!

The vegan place of Quebec city - Edit

This place has very good vibes. The owner is friendly, the place is pleasant for lunch or to spend some time in the afternoon. The food is always excellent and you have plenty of choice (including for cakes and desserts). I find that portions were fair for the price and the quality of the food. I came back here 4 or 5 times when I was in Quebec. It has a central location very convenient. It is THE place to find tasty and affordable vegan food. Besides, they promote a no-waste-way of life. Totally recommended!

Pros: 100% vegan, very good food, friendly staff, central location, affordable

Great vegan refuge with tasty food - Edit

It was so great to find Louca within walking distance of our hotel on our recent honeymoon. I've only been vegan about 2 months, so I'm not used to asking for vegan adjustments to non-vegan menus, so it was great to find a place where everything was totally vegan without any adjustments.
We liked the food very much, especially the lasagna and chocolate chip muffins. The decor was interesting and inviting, and was inviting over all. We really enjoyed it, and it made our honeymoon that much more special!

Pros: Very tasty food, Friendly proprietor, Several options for both sweet and savory

Wonderful ambiance and delicious food! - Edit

This place is in a great location in Quebec City and truly has delicious food! I had the burger with a homemade amazingly delicious burger bun. For my 15 month old son I ordered the vegan burger, which he devoured, and my hubby ordered the lasagna. I also ordered the brownie.....mmmmmmmmm!!!! We were so happy with our meal and loved that there was ample room to move around and eat. Instead of disposable napkins they have cloths, which I love!!! We will definitely return to this amazing little place before we head back home:).

Pros: Delicious food, No waste, Organic

Amazing food and cozy spot - Edit

What an incredible concept! Zero waste grocery store with a cute and cozy lay out that enables it's customers to eat there. Me and my partner are visiting from Toronto and we had the Gratin, moussaka and brioché burger for lunch. Food was so delicious and flavourful. It was perfect in salt ! Left us feeling satiated and light. We also have the lemon bread and the tortellete with strawberries. Let me tell you that the tortellete was no joke! Crumbly shortbread like crust with rich creamy filling annndd fresh strawberries. They were both just sweet enough so you can really taste the flavour. If you're passing through support this place it's truly amazing! The customer service was fantastic and you HAVE to get the brioché burger. Or just the bun and eat it. Would recommend 10/10!

Pros: Cozy and welcoming, Friendly staff, Vegan

Vegan, organic, and zero waste! - Edit

The only all-vegan store in Quebec city that isn't raw, it is also all organic and focused on zero waste. You can eat there, get food to go, or buy groceries in bulk. You may either bring your own containers, jars or bags, or buy some there.

There are sandwiches, mains, spreads, desserts, beverages, and soup of the day. Some dishes are made without gluten, but there is contact with gluten in the kitchen. The groceries are dried fruit, nuts, seeds, pasta, grains, legumes, chocolate, seasonings, etc., plus local and seasonal produce, and also cleaning products.

The place looks nice with its wooden floor, brick wall, and purposefully mismatched, old-fashioned decor. There aren't many tables since it is primarily a grocery store. It is conveniently located in the center of the city.

My favorite dishes: Lasagna, Shepherd's pie, Pizza, Veggie pâté, Baba ganoush
My favorite desserts: Lemon-cashew cake, Carrot cake, Chocolate cake, Lemon mini loaf, Chocolate-banana mini loaf, Chocolate chip cookies

Wow! - Edit

The best vegan place in Quebec City! The atmosphere is great and the food is perfect. Nice choice of dried fruits, spices, nuts, teas, etc.
I like the fact there's a binder at the counter with all the ingredients used in all their recipes.

Pros: All organic!
