Bakery, part of a small national chain, offering a variety of breads, most of which are vegan. Vegan breads include: sourdough, sunflower seed, fruit bread, multigrain bread, and more. In the back freezer section there is a selection of vegan cakes from an outside bakery. Flavors may include: berry cheesecake, chocolate hazelnut, vanilla cream, and more. Vegan cakes are clearly labeled with the "vegan friendly" sticker. Usually has some packages of labeled vegan cookies. Also selling non-vegan cakes and sweets (containing eggs and/or dairy). Chain permanently closed all locations December 2022. This branch was bought by another vegan-friendly bakery, Pat Steinbach (see other listing on HappyCow).

Best Bread in Haifa!

I really love fresh bread from Lechem Tushia! Their sourdough bread is my favorite, and all of their breads are tasty. :)

Pros: tasty bread, friendly service, following covid-19 regulations (clean)

Cons: no vegan sweets

A very nice and friendly bakery at the center of Haifa

I go to this bakery at least once a week. The kind workers great me with a smile that can be noticed even when they wear a mask (and they really keep the COVID restrictions and the place is clean). The bread is brought fresh from the center of Israel and is very high quality. At the bakery, you can find many different kinds of bread and cakes. Most of the bread is vegan, while the cakes are vegetarian (have dairy and eggs). Highly recommended!
