Neighborhood cafe eager to please - Edit
This is a wonderful little cafe, perfect for that cup of tea or coffee during an afternoon break. The food is gluten-free and made on the spot. Even though it is made on the spot, except for soups and desserts, the service is very quick.

They suggest that you call in advance so your order will be ready. They bent over backwards to make sure our take out order was packed correctly.
Very nice and I would definitely go back again.
Not for a dinner date. Does not serve alcohol. Not sure if they are cash only.

The coffee, grilled cheese and potato salad are really good! However they still offer animal products. Time to switch to vegan guys! :)

Their vegan gluten free pad thai is absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of heat and with fresh crunchy bean sprouts and peanuts on top. Salads are mostly raw (one comes with a scoop of house veggie pate, some have quinoa and/or beans) with a generous side portion of homemade dressing. Le Kitchen is really good about accommodating allergies so let them know if you have any concerns!

Good simple, casual vegan food - Edit
I was unclear when we decided to go here that it isn't a regular restaurant. It's a little store front that you walk in, pick something out of the cooler and sit in the seating area with it. They had a good selection of fresh, meal sized salads and sandwiches/burgers and a juice and smoothie bar. The aztec salad was great- really fresh and filling with greens, quinoa, black beans, veggies, tempeh and even a little container of spicy pumpkin seeds. Also got a smoothie with chocolate almond butter and bananas that was great. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was bright, clean and low-key. I'd recommend it for a casual lunch spot.
