Accueillis sur la terrasse, nous avons passé une très belle soirée gourmande au Café de Chavannes. Service impeccable, belle présentation, de l'entrée au dessert c'était parfait et 100% végétalien.
Read moreAu menu ce soir-là: une délicieuse poêlée de champignons, un burger à la betterave (un pain su-blime!) et pour finir un moelleux au chocolat et boule de glace mangue. Vraiment parfait. J'ai hâte de revenir tester d'autres plats.

Plats variés et très bons avec une partie à tendance créole. Quasiment tous les plats peuvent être servis en vegan. Quelques desserts vegan aussi.

Discreet place just outside Lausanne - Edit
...which is really worth the trip! But it is difficult to spot from the outside, so I found it only via HappyCow, despite living not too far away. Very friendly service, delicious vegetarian and vegan food, sometimes with a creole twist, lots of local products, excellent price-service ratio. My recommendation: go for the tempeh!

Beautiful place, gourmet vegetarian restaurant, excellent food - Edit
In the heart of Chavannes, close to the EPFL and University of Lausanne campus, this charming restaurant opened summer 2019. It has a beautiful terrace with trees. The owners are welcoming and the menu is based mostly on organic food from the region, freshly cooked and nicely presented. Some dishes have Mauritian flavors. A nice address for a special occasion. Open from Monday to Friday evening.
Read morePlenty of possibilities to park. Reachable from Lausanne by the Metro until Unil-Sorge bus 31 or short walk from the campus
Otherwise go by train to Renens and then walk or take the bus 31 the other way around.

Accueil chaleureux, service efficace et discret, mets délicieux à la présentation soignée, et last but not least une magnifique terrasse ombragée et romantique. Tous les plats ou presque peuvent être végétalisés, la carte est attrayante, on a l'embarras du choix et tout donne envie ! Un établissement à recommander et où il faut revenir vite pour tester d'autres plats.

The place is very nice. Nice & quiet terrasse. Staff is sweet and attentive. Good was served super quick. Meals very nicely set. There are just enough options on the menu: not too much, not too little. And they are all appealing! you will hesitate😄And last but not least, the food was just delish!!! :)))

A place to return to. No doubt!!
