Perfect for Special Occasions - Edit
While visiting my Mom we picked Lamoraga for dinner out on Christmas (we don't celebrate it but wanted to do something special as a family.) I had high hopes based on the other Happy Cow reviews and was extremely satisfied with our experience!
Read moreFirst off just really appreciated they were even open on Christmas day and didn't do a limited or special menu so we had access to all of the vegan options. It's great to see an omnivore restaurant that has a separate section for vegan entrees and to echo other reviews here, they have put effort into having several creative Plant-Based opinions instead of defaulting to 'can be made vegan' by removing items.
Service was outstanding, our server knew his stuff about the vegan menu, and we chatted briefly about the few existing options for good vegan food in Naples (he suggested we check out Nat Nat wine bar on our next trip.) My partner wanted a vegan mocktail and their special holiday cocktail (cranberry juice, coconut cream, lemon and fresh rosemary) was suggested. It was yummy but a tad sweet for us. I ordered the High West Old Fashioned which tasted like bourbon, so I was happy!
Got the bread basket which already is vegan, it was fine with an olive tapenade as the accompanying condiment (can't all be Eleven Madison Park rolls sunflower seed butter!) For starter we got the Maple Soy Brussel Sprouts and those were delicious. I ordered the Truffle Pasta Vegan pasta tossed with Beyond fennel sausage, mushrooms & truffle cream sauce, for $34 it was a big portion and it was delicious! My partner got the Massaman Curry made with coconut milk, vegetables, potatoes, cashews over lemon grass rice, for $26 was also a big portion and he really liked it (I preferred the pasta tho, I thought the cashews in the curry maybe were raw and that flavor I didn't enjoy as much.) We shared the vegan warm Belgium Chocolate Brownie with wild berry compote, huge for just $10 and it was also delicious.
Mom enjoyed her non-vegan entree, it was a huge dish she took half of it home. I booked last minute online and had a choice of counter seating or outside, so we sat outside but it was enclosed with a screen because it was raining and my Mom was really happy with this because it was quieter and less crowded. I would happily go back sometime to try other vegan menu items and compared to NYC it didn't really even seem all that much of a splurge for what you get. Highly recommend!!

This is a very nice place with great service. Food presentation was very nice. Good for a nice night out and not as pricey as downtown Naples. We will be back.

The pasta was tossed with Beyond fennel sausage, porcini mushroom, vegan cream, and truffle oil. Delicious options. I saw vegan paella on the menu and they have a vegan brownie dessert- will try it the next time I’m down.

This place was one of my favorites on the trip. A lot of times vegan food places are more casual but this was a fancier spot that felt very boujee. I got the tomato artichoke soup to start followed by the vegan truffle pasta. There are about 5 vegan dinner options to choose from. All 5 are very intricate and not just something they threw together. Service was great, atmosphere was great, food was delicious. Would give it 5 stars if I could!

I’m so grateful for the vegan options at Lamoraga! The mushroom calamari had a great sauce to dip in, truffle pasta was so flavorful and filling, vegan paella was filled with veggies. The complimentary bread comes with tapenade and is delicious. I saved the unused tapenade to mix into my pasta fo an extra kick of flavor too. Lychee drink was delicious.

I came to Lamoraga with omnis on a trip to Naples, and it was absolutely delicious! I got the vegan mushroom calamari and the vegan paella and loved both. All of my omnivore friends also loved their food! I have no issues with shared fryer or cooktops -veganism is about saving animals and you are not saving any more animals by avoiding shared cooking spaces. My only negative is that is is a bit expensive, especially the drinks, but it is a great option for a fancier dinner out.

This restaurant is one of the few in Naples which advertises vegan options and even hosts a vegan night. However, some of their options labeled as “vegan” such as the “avocado pincho” and “french fries” share a frier with shrimp and calamari. Thus, not truly vegan. Do your due diligence.

Several good vegan options - Edit
Have been here twice, since they offer about six different vegan dishes. You can enjoy a great dinner with omni friends, and they don’t rush you. The restaurant atmosphere is quite hip and the servers are knowledgeable about which foods are vegan. I’ve ordered the vegan paella both times. It was a bit salty the second time I had it, but has lots of veggies mixed in with the rice. Big portions too. They have a vegan coconut milk bread pudding as a dessert, but I’ve always been too full after diner to eat dessert.
