Staff understand veganism - but I got food poisoning

I probably just got unlucky, but I ended getting food poisoning after eating here. But reading google reviews etc it does not seem like an existing issue. I had momos and an allo gobhi, both were relatively tasty (had far better aloo gobhis though). Staff understand veganism and weee helpful. 99% of the time it’ll be a good option in Leh

Friendly, fast, and delicious!

Our party, who hadn’t liked much Indian food, became obsessed with their momos. Excellent variety—I had a craving for Pad Thai which was surprisingly good (and vegan)
Very attentive staff—I dropped my knife and one was delivered on a plate in moments. Friendly but not pushy. Highly recommend.

Pros: Variety for even the pickiest eaters , Excellent local food, Excellent service

Great momos, but otherwise limited vegan options

From its second-storey perch overlooking the center of the main bazaar, Lamayuru is a great spot for people-watching and a snack or meal. The momos are some of the best in town, and there are decent veg pakoras. Aside from those, vegan options are limited to the usual staples, and vegans should ask about dairy ingredients to be sure.

Service is perhaps best described as "usually available for the asking," and generally good enough once asked.
