Amazing dinner after a week-long hike

It's great to have a proper meal after doing the Overland track, eating radix kibbles for a week!

The cafe has a vegetarian burger that can be turned vegan by skipping the mayo and replacing the buns with toast slices. A bit bland but still appreciated. The fries are good.

If staying at the lodge, the buffet breakfast offers baked beans, nice potatoes, toasts with jam and cereal with three kinds of plant meals (ask the staff).

The dinner menu however is great. At least one entré and one main course was vegan. The tempeh with mushroom dish was amazing.

Pros: Restaurant's dinner menu has great vegan offering, Friendly staff

Post Overland Meal

The curry was tasty and had fresh ingredients. Their were 2 vegan entrees and 2 vegan sides I could have also chosen. Nice to have a few vegan options and staff were helpful and knowledgeable about dietary options. Pricey but there is a surcharge that goes back to the parks service.

Pretty average !

Prices are okay a few vegan options available but a burger turned into a weird sandwich’s cause I made It vegan. Chips really yummy ! Drinks a bit overpriced but friendly staff.
